Swindon Softball league entered two teams into a rookie tournament “hit and run” this weekend. Well done to everyone in the Swindon Demons and Swindon Swingers. After some really well fought group games the teams ended up playing each other in the spoon semi final. Swingers lived up to their name and hit their way to a win (12-0), advancing to Spoon final where they took on Maidenhead, beating them 10-5 to take the trophy ❤️

What a night! With the outdoor season very nearly at a close, last night saw our formidable small ball hitters get together for a SBH only game, bringing together players from all teams within our championship and development leagues.

The game was a roaring success, with Sassy Sluggers beating Pitch Please 17-4 in what was a really fun, competitive and joyful evening.

Thanks to all that played and our superstar organiser Becca for making it happen! 🥎

Bases loaded - it's RBI time!

3 outs and that's side away 💪

Putting the Sassy Slugger name to the test 💁‍♀️

Pitch, please!

Winding up at home plate for another big hit 🥎

Trust us when we say this one went miles!

Getting a final innings in while we still had enough sunlight ⛅

Thanks to everyone that made this night possible, we can't wait to hold our next SBH event 🎉
