It’s another busy weekend for the TTFC family! 🙌

Our Foxes, Tigers, Vixens and Sharks are all back in action, with plenty of football to look forward to across the age groups. 🦊🐯🦈

Good luck to every single one of our teams taking to the pitch this weekend. Play with pride, enjoy your football and, most importantly, have fun! 💚⚽️

⚽ THIS is why we insist on shin pads. ⚽

This happened to one of our U16 players during a game this weekend.

Take a look at that shin pad.

It took the impact so the player’s shin didn’t have to.

Football is physical. Tackles happen, boots connect and accidents happen — often with absolutely no intent or foul play involved.

That’s why at Towcester Town Football Club we insist that every player wears properly fitted shin pads for both training and matches. It’s not something we’re prepared to compromise on.

Parents — please check your child’s shin pads regularly. Make sure they’re in good condition and, importantly, big enough to provide meaningful protection. Those tiny fashion-style pads might look good, but protection is what matters.

This one certainly did its job! 👏💚⚽

The clubhouse remains closed, but we hope to see some support down at the rec for our teams playing there, maybe bring a flask of tea!

Week 1 is in the books, and what a great start to the season we had across all our teams.

Our under 7s had their first taste of the new 3v3 format and it looked like a lot of fun was had by every player!
We also saw our under 11 Vixens make their debut in a great game (they're doing player of the month instead).

Some great football on display across every pitch in every location, it's great to be back seeing all our players having fun on a Saturday morning on the pitch!

Congratulations to all our players of the match from this weekend! ⚽️💚
