Some of our hockey girls traded the pitch for a different kind of fitness this weekend, taking part in Battle In The Brew at Wylam Brewery! Safe to say they absolutely smashed it! 💚💛

..And because balance is key, they recovered the only way they know how: with well-deserved Margaritas. 🍹✨

We are incredibly proud to announce that Morpeth Hockey Club has been named the Yorkshire & North East Club of the Year at the England Hockey Awards 2026! 🏆

This award is a testament to the hard work of our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters. We are now officially heading to the National Finals in Leicester on June 6th to represent our region for the title of National Club of the Year.

We’re excited to host MH1 Coaching at Morpeth Hockey Club this August!

These camps were established by Olympic gold medallist & former GB #1 goalkeeper and her expert coaching team – designed to help players of all levels improve, learn, and push their game to the next level.

What an incredible achievement for two of our club members at the Masters Indoor World Cup last week at Nottingham! 🏑

proudly represented Wales, while represented and captained England.

To make it even more special, they played against each other in the Bronze Medal match, with England coming away with 3rd place after a hard-fought game.

We are so proud of both of you and your amazing achievements on the world stage.

Weekend Junior Results 🏑

U10 Girls ‘Greens’ were runners up in the EH Area In2Hockey Competition 👏

The ‘Golds’ played some excellent hockey and improved throughout the tournament

The U10 Boys joined with Durham and Gateshead came 3rd overall, again improving as the tournament went on🥉

It was a big day on Sunday for our juniors with some fantastic performances across the board 👇

• U16 Girls reached the last 8 of the England Hockey SupraLeague Plate, narrowly losing to a very strong side.
Wishing them the best of luck in the next round 👏

• U14 Girls picked up an excellent win against , who pushed hard throughout 💪

• U12 Boys narrowly lost in the final to , but both teams progress to the Y&NE Finals at the end of April 🙌
