Sinking toys are always a favourite in our Major Swim lessons! They’re a fun way to encourage little swimmers to put their faces in the water, practise going underwater and build their confidence without it feeling like hard work 🏊♀️💙

Abbey is the founder of Major Swim and has been teaching swimming since she was just 16, bringing years of experience and a real passion for swimming into every lesson.
For Abbey, swimming isn’t just about learning strokes. It’s about building confidence, having fun and giving every child vital water safety skills that could one day save their life 🌊
And, most importantly, making sure swimming really is for everyone 💙

Last week, Abbey, Major Swim’s founder, was back in her hometown of Preston, this time training some of the next generation of swimming teachers! 💙
Abbey loves being able to pass on her knowledge and experience, helping new teachers build their skills and confidence before they head poolside themselves.
It’s always great to see that knowledge being passed on and more brilliant swimming teachers joining the industry! 🏊♂️👏
