THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 12
“When I’m Gone, Remember This…”
My child,
There will come a day when Daddy won't be around to answer every question.
A day when you won't be able to call me and hear my voice.
A day when the chair I usually sit in may be empty.
And when that day comes, I want you to remember this:
You were deeply loved.
Not because you were perfect.
Not because you always made me proud.
Not because you never made mistakes.
I loved you because you were my child.
From the moment you came into my life, a part of my heart began walking outside of me.
I worried about you.
I prayed for you.
I corrected you.
I celebrated you.
I sometimes got it wrong.
But through every season, I loved you.
So when I'm gone, don't spend all your days remembering my mistakes.
Remember the lessons.
Remember the laughter.
Remember the moments I held you.
Remember the times I told you to keep going.
Remember that even when I didn't have the words, my heart was always speaking your name.
And please…
Don't be afraid to live.
Dream.
Love.
Forgive.
Build.
Take chances.
Get back up when you fall.
Become everything God created you to be.
Go further than I did.
Do better where I couldn't.
Heal what I couldn't heal.
And leave something beautiful behind you.
If I did anything right as your Daddy, I hope it was teaching you that your life matters.
That kindness matters.
That integrity matters.
That faith matters.
That family matters.
And that no matter how far life takes you…
never forget where you came from and never forget who loves you.
When I'm gone, you don't have to spend your life trying to make me proud.
Live a life that makes YOU proud.
And whenever you accomplish something beautiful, I hope you'll smile and think:
“Daddy would have been proud of me.”
Yes, my child.
I would.
Always.
Because even when my voice is no longer here to say it…
my love for you will remain.
And if there is one final thing I could whisper into your heart, it would be this:
“Go and live well, my child.
Love deeply.
Stand firmly.
Keep God close.
And never forget—you were loved by Daddy.” ❤️
Things Daddy Won’t Always Say… but I hope you always know.

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 9
“I’m So Proud of You.”
My child,
I may not always say it.
I may not always know how to express it.
But I am so proud of you.
Not because you are perfect.
Not because you always get everything right.
Not because you never fall.
I am proud because you keep getting back up.
I see the little steps you take.
I see the effort nobody applauds.
I see you trying again after disappointment.
I see the battles you don't always talk about.
I see you growing.
And sometimes, my child, you may think Daddy only notices your mistakes.
But I notice your progress too.
I notice your kindness.
I notice when you choose to do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
I notice when you help someone.
I notice when you keep going even though you're tired.
I notice you.
You don't have to become the best at everything to make me proud.
You don't have to achieve everything I dreamed about.
You don't have to live your life trying to prove that you're worthy of my love.
You are already worthy of it.
I want you to dream.
I want you to work hard.
I want you to become all that God created you to be.
But please remember:
Your achievements will never be the measure of my love for you.
If you succeed, I'll celebrate with you.
If you fail, I'll help you get back up.
If you get lost, I'll help you find your way.
And if the whole world ever makes you feel like you're not enough…
Come home.
Because Daddy will remind you.
You are loved.
You are capable.
You are valuable.
And you are becoming someone worth being proud of.
So today, I want to say the words I may not say often enough:
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU. ❤️
Not just for what you've done.
For who you are becoming.
Things Daddy Won’t Always Say… but I hope you always know.

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 8
“I’m Not Perfect, But I’m Trying.”
My child,
You may look at Daddy and think I have everything figured out.
You may think I don't get tired.
That I don't get scared.
That I always know what to say and exactly what to do.
But the truth is…
I'm human too.
I make mistakes.
I have doubts.
I have bad days.
There are moments when I lie awake wondering if I'm doing enough.
Am I giving you what you need?
Am I teaching you the right things?
Am I being the father you deserve?
Sometimes I don't know.
Sometimes I get it wrong.
Sometimes I say the wrong thing when I should have listened.
Sometimes I lose my patience when I should have been more gentle.
And for those moments, I'm sorry.
But my child, there's something I desperately want you to know:
I'm trying.
Every day, I'm trying.
Trying to understand you better.
Trying to become wiser.
Trying to love you better.
Trying to heal the parts of myself I don't want to pass down to you.
Trying to give you what I didn't always have.
I may not have all the answers.
I may not always get it right.
But every morning I wake up with one thing in my heart:
I want to be better for you.
So don't measure Daddy by his perfection.
There isn't any.
Measure me by my willingness to learn.
By the times I came back and apologized.
By the times I kept showing up when life was difficult.
By the times I chose love even when I was tired.
Because fatherhood isn't about being a perfect man.
It's about being present enough to keep becoming a better one.
And if one day you become a parent yourself, I hope you remember this:
Your children don't need a perfect parent.
They need a parent who loves them enough to keep growing.
So when you see my imperfections, don't be afraid of them.
Learn from them.
And when I fall short, remember that I'm still learning too.
Because, my child…
I may not be perfect.
But I am trying.
And I hope you always know—
You are worth the effort.
You are worth the growth.
You are worth becoming better for. ❤️
Things Daddy Won’t Always Say… but I hope you always know.

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 7
“Sometimes I Don’t Know What To Do.”
My child,
You may think Daddy always knows what to do.
You see me making decisions.
You see me solving problems.
You hear me say, “Don’t worry, we’ll figure it out.”
But there are moments when I close the door, sit quietly, and ask myself:
“What do I do now?”
There are situations I never prepared for.
Questions I don't have answers to.
Bills that don't wait.
Problems that don't disappear.
Moments when I wish someone would tell me everything is going to be okay.
Sometimes, my child…
Daddy doesn't know what to do.
And that's one of the hardest things about being a father.
Everyone expects you to have answers.
Everyone looks to you for strength.
But sometimes, behind the strength is simply a man trying his best to figure life out.
I may not always tell you when I'm confused.
I may not show you every worry.
Not because I don't trust you…
but because I am still learning how to carry responsibility without allowing it to become your burden.
But here's something I want you to learn from me:
Not knowing what to do doesn't mean you have failed.
Sometimes you pause.
Sometimes you ask for help.
Sometimes you pray.
Sometimes you take one step and trust God for the next.
And sometimes, the only prayer you can manage is:
“Lord, I don't know what to do.
Please lead me.” 🙏🏽
My child, I don't want you growing up believing that strength means having every answer.
I want you to know that strong people ask for help.
Strong people admit when they don't know.
Strong people pray.
Strong people try again.
And strong people keep moving—even when the road ahead isn't clear.
So if you ever see Daddy sitting quietly…
If you ever notice that I don't have the answer…
Don't think I've stopped being strong.
I'm probably just reminding myself that I don't have to know everything.
I just have to keep trusting.
Keep learning.
Keep showing up.
And keep loving you.
Because sometimes…
Daddy doesn't know what to do.
But one thing I will always know:
I will never stop being your Daddy. ❤️
Things Daddy Won’t Always Say… but I hope you always know.

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 6
“I Need Your Respect, Not Your Fear.”
My child,
I know I am your Daddy.
There will be times I have to say No.
Times I will correct you.
Times I will set boundaries you don't understand.
And sometimes you may think:
“Daddy is too strict.”
“Daddy doesn't understand me.”
“Daddy just wants me to obey.”
But there is something I want you to know.
I don't want you to obey me because you are afraid of me.
I want you to respect me because you know that I love you.
I want you to be able to disagree with me and still know that you are safe.
I want you to ask questions.
I want you to tell me when you are hurt.
I want you to come to me when you have made a mistake—not run away because you're afraid of my reaction.
Because one day, you will grow up.
You will make your own decisions.
You will have your own home, your own family, your own life.
And when that day comes, I don't want my voice to be the only thing you remember.
I want the values I taught you to live inside you.
I don't want to raise a child who behaves well only when Daddy is watching.
I want to raise a person of character who does what is right even when nobody is watching.
So yes, Daddy will correct you.
But Daddy will also listen.
Daddy will apologize.
Daddy will explain.
Daddy will hug you.
And Daddy will remind you, again and again, that discipline is not rejection.
My child, you don't have to be afraid of me to respect me.
You can respect me and still talk to me.
You can disagree with me and still love me.
You can make mistakes and still come home.
Because no matter how old you become…
You will always be my child.
And I hope that when life gets difficult, one of the safest places you know is still Daddy's arms. ❤️
Things Daddy Won’t Always Say… but I hope you always know.

18/09/2026

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 5
“I Don’t Want You to Become Me.”
My child,
I have dreams for you.
Not because I don't like who you are, but because I know there is so much more ahead of you.
I want you to go further than I did.
To see opportunities I never saw.
To experience things I never experienced.
To dream dreams I was once too afraid to dream.
You may look at Daddy and think I have everything figured out.
But I don't.
I have made mistakes.
I have carried struggles.
I have made decisions I wish I could change.
There are battles I fought quietly and wounds I learned to live with.
And if there is one thing I don't want for you, it is to inherit the things I should have healed from.
I don't want you carrying my fears.
I don't want you repeating my mistakes.
I don't want you limiting your future because of where I started.
I want you to be free.
Free to dream.
Free to discover who God created you to be.
Free to choose a better path.
Free to become more than I ever imagined.
So yes, sometimes Daddy may push you.
Sometimes I may challenge you.
Sometimes I may ask more from you than you think you can give.
But it's not because I want you to live my life.
It's because I want you to build yours.
My greatest joy will not be seeing you become another version of me.
It will be watching you become the person you were created to be.
If you can go further than me, go.
If you can dream bigger than me, dream.
If you can build better than I did, build.
And if one day you surpass everything I achieved, don't ever feel guilty about it.
That will be one of Daddy's greatest victories.
Because my child…
I don't want you to become me.
I want you to become YOU.
And by God's grace, even greater. ❤️🙏🏽
Things Daddy Won’t Always Say… but I hope you always know.

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 4
“I’m Hard on You Because I See Something in You.”
My child,
I know there are moments when you wonder…
“Why is Daddy always correcting me?”
“Why does he expect so much from me?”
“Why can’t he just let me be?”
Maybe sometimes my expectations feel like too much.
Maybe my “no” feels unfair.
Maybe my correction feels like rejection.
But there is something I need you to know:
I am not hard on you because I don’t believe in you.
I am hard on you because I do.
I see something in you that you may not yet see in yourself.
I see strength.
I see potential.
I see character waiting to be developed.
I see possibilities beyond where you are today.
And because I love you, I don't want you to settle for less than the person you were created to become.
Sometimes I will have difficult conversations with you.
Sometimes I will say “No.”
Sometimes I will ask you to try again when you would rather give up.
Not because I want to control you…
but because I want to prepare you.
Life will not always be gentle with you, my child.
There will be doors that close.
There will be people who disappoint you.
There will be moments when nobody applauds you.
And I want you to have the character, wisdom and courage to keep standing.
But hear me clearly:
Correction without love can wound.
So I am learning to correct you without breaking you.
I am learning that you don't just need a father who tells you what is wrong.
You need a father who reminds you that you are still loved while you are learning.
So when Daddy is hard on you, look beyond the correction and remember the heart behind it.
I see you.
I believe in you.
And I refuse to give up on you.
One day, I hope you understand that some of my hardest conversations with you came from some of my deepest love for you.
Because Daddy doesn't want a perfect child.
Daddy wants to help raise a strong, kind, responsible and courageous human being.
And if I ever get it wrong along the way…
I hope you know that I'm learning too.
I'm not trying to make you become me.
I'm trying to help you become the very best version of YOU. ❤️

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 3
“I’m Sorry I Got It Wrong.”
My child,
One day, you may look back at your childhood and remember some things Daddy got right.
But you may also remember the times I got it wrong.
The times I spoke too harshly.
The times I didn't listen when you needed me to.
The times I corrected you when what you really needed was a hug.
The times my own worries, frustrations, or expectations got in the way of simply being your Daddy.
For those moments, I’m sorry.
I wish I could go back and change some words.
I wish I could handle some situations with more patience.
I wish I had understood that sometimes you weren't being difficult—you were simply trying to be understood.
But my child, please know this:
Daddy is human too.
I am learning.
I am growing.
And sometimes, I'm becoming the father you need while I'm still trying to understand the father I was supposed to be.
I won't always get it right.
But I promise you this:
I will keep trying.
Because loving you means being humble enough to say “I was wrong.”
It means choosing connection over pride.
It means apologizing when I hurt you instead of hiding behind, “I'm your father.”
And it means understanding that being your Daddy gives me authority—but it also gives me a responsibility to love you well.
So if I ever got it wrong…
Please don't mistake my mistakes for a lack of love.
There were moments I fell short precisely because I cared so deeply and didn't always know how to express it.
I'm not asking you to remember a perfect Daddy.
I just hope you remember a Daddy who kept learning.
A Daddy who kept showing up.
A Daddy who kept choosing you.
And a Daddy who, even when he got it wrong, never stopped loving you.
❤️
“I’m sorry I got it wrong, my child.
And I’ll keep becoming better for you.”

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 2
I’M SCARED TOO, MY CHILD.
My child,
You see Daddy standing tall.
You see me making decisions.
You see me solving problems.
You hear me say, “Don’t worry. Everything will be fine.”
But sometimes, after everyone has gone to bed, Daddy has his own questions.
What if I fail?
What if I make the wrong decision?
What if what I’m doing isn’t enough?
What if tomorrow brings something I cannot handle?
Yes, my child…
Daddy is scared too.
I worry about your future.
I worry about the choices you will make.
I worry about the people you will meet.
I worry about the world you are growing up in.
And sometimes, I worry about myself too.
Because being a father comes with a weight nobody prepared you for.
There are moments when I wish I had all the answers.
Moments when I wish someone would look at me and say,
“Daddy, you don't have to have it all figured out.”
But then I remember you are watching.
So I get up.
I pray.
I try again.
I keep going.
Not because I'm fearless…
but because I have someone depending on me.
My child, if you ever see me afraid, please don't think I've stopped being strong.
Maybe that's when I'm being the strongest.
Because courage isn't about having no fear.
Courage is being afraid and still choosing to move forward.
One day, when you're old enough to understand, I hope you realize that Daddy wasn't always certain.
I was just trusting God with what I couldn't control.
I was learning as I went.
I was carrying responsibilities with trembling hands.
And sometimes, my strongest prayer was simply:
“Lord, help me be the father my child needs me to be.” 🙏🏽
So, my child…
If Daddy doesn't always tell you he's afraid, it's not because he doesn't feel fear.
It's because he wants you to feel safe.
But remember this:
Daddy was never fearless.
I was simply learning to trust God while I kept showing up for you.
Things Daddy Won’t Always Say…

THINGS DADDY WON’T ALWAYS SAY — DAY 1
Sometimes Daddy Is Tired Too.
Daddy is expected to be strong.
To provide.
To protect.
To have answers.
To keep going—even when life gets heavy.
But sometimes, Daddy is tired too.
Sometimes he sits quietly, not because he has nothing to say, but because he doesn't know how to explain what he is carrying.
Sometimes he needs a moment.
Sometimes he needs encouragement.
Sometimes he simply needs someone to ask, “Daddy, are you okay?”
Being strong doesn't mean never getting tired.
And being a father doesn't mean Daddy has everything figured out.
So today, remember to appreciate the man who keeps showing up—even on the days when he doesn't feel strong enough to.
Because sometimes, Daddy is tired too.
❤️
