Everyone at the club would like to send Harriers Coach Robert Whiteley and the Whiteley family our condolences after learning of the passing of Val Whiteley. Val was a big supporter of the teams and will be missed ❤️

⚽️ U10 End of Season Celebration – Footgolf & Presentation Day! 🏆

What a fantastic way to round off the season! The boys enjoyed a brilliant day out at footgolf in glorious sunshine 🌞, plenty of laughs, some surprisingly competitive moments, and (thankfully for the parents!) a bit of peace and quiet while the lads made their way around the course… although we’re not sure what caused more chaos, the footballs or the scorekeeping! 😂

A big shoutout to Finn McKenzie, who took the honours in the footgolf competition 👏 And in the adult showdown, Coach Rob Whiteley claimed victory over Hamish McKenzie – we won’t mention it again… alright, maybe just once more… Ha! 😄

The venue put on a fantastic spread of food and drinks, which went down a treat with everyone 🍔🥤We then moved on to our end-of-season presentation, starting with some well-deserved thank yous:

What a great way to end our season! 🏆
On Saturday, the Hawks & Harriers came together to enter two mixed teams into the annual Strensall Tigers Tournament ⚽️

Coach Lee’s team made it to the 1/4 Final before narrowly losing 1-0.
Coach Rob’s team… went all the way, beating Poppleton Tigers 1-0 to lift the trophy!! 🏆

Tonight’s final training session - including parents - draws the season to a close.
After an unbeaten block from the Harriers, Rawcliffe White U10’s came out on top in the Final at Poppleton on Sunday.

The Harriers travelled to Fulford this morning looking to finish the season with a 7th game unbeaten, and did it in style!

The versatile Theo - usually GK - scored a hattrick and deserved MOTM, with a smart double save from Olly and a goal-line clearance from Finlay.

The Harriers played at home this morning, taking on Osbaldwick U10’s at Outwood.
We recorded our biggest win of the season with hattricks from Will and Ted, and goals from Joel, Billy & George ⚽️

The gaffer was particularly pleased with our second consecutive clean sheet 👊🏼
Particular mention to a halfway line ticket from Ted 🚀

This morning, the Harriers finally managed to get a game after the weather dominated the start of 2026.

It was a bitterly cold home match against Fulford Vikings U10’s, with a scrappy opening half leaving the score at 1-1.

The Harriers then took hold of the game, scoring a few more to take the victory. A big thanks to Fulford for coming across today.
