The Pride is a private gym in Rosedale, home to the famous Personal Training Pods. We create confident gym goers.

Getting strong isn't about lifting heavier weights.

For most people, getting stronger means you can go on that hike without feeling like you're holding everyone back.

It means being able to keep up with the kids as we get older.

It's about adding years to your life. But most importantly, life to your years.

If you've always felt a little bit lost at the gym, like everyone else knows what their doing, then we have built The Pride for you.

Flick us a message and join the best gym for 'non gym' people โœŒ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Š

Pat is down 40kgs, but that isn't even the best part.

The best part is being around to watch his grandkids grow old.

Being able to get up off the floor without needing help.

And improving his mental health.

The Pride is not for elite athletes. It's for beginners and 'non gym' people.

For people who know they need a bit more support than a normal gym, and a lot less judgement.

We are so proud of you ๐Ÿ’›

It's not your fault, the system is broken.

If you've always felt out of place at the gym, stop blaming yourself.

Normal gyms are designed by 'gym people' for 'gym people'. They aren't designed for beginners.

Mirrors everywhere. Everyone knows what they're doing. You get a key card and then your left to your own devices.

Or group sessions where 1 coach has to spread their attention across 20+ people.

These gyms are amazing for people who already know what to do.

But they aren't great for beginners and 'non gym' people.

But that's okay. Because for beginners, The Pride exists โœŒ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿฆ

15Kg ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Before we celebrate this win, we want to be real.

It hasn't been easy.

There have been ups, downs, and lots of deep conversations.

There have been set backs. Weeks where the weight has crept up. Weeks where it all felt too hard.

But Sem did one thing. He kept turning up.

Shout out to who has lost 15Kgs and over 30cm of measurements since joining us just before Christmas ๐Ÿคฏ that's over a full ruler!

We are all going through our own health and fitness journey.

We all have hard times, set backs and times where we feel like giving up.

When these times come, remember one thing.

Keep turning up.

If you don't quit, you can't lose โœŠ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿฆ

The Pride was made for beginners.

For 'non gym' people.

But we do have a few members who've been to gyms before. But something was missing.

They've tried group classes.

They've tried going alone.

But nothing seems to work.

They get injured, motivation drops, or they hit plateaus in progress.

That's where The Pride fills the gap.

This is Nat & Oscar. They've been in our Personal Training Pods for over 2 years, and are 2 of the most welcoming people you will ever meet.

They are stronger, fitter and more mobile than ever.

They have also helped shape The Prides culture into what it is today. A supportive, uplifting community.

Where people who would usually avoid gyms, come to gain confidence and strength.

Nat & Oscat - Even though you've ditched NZ for Melbourne (booo ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿฝ), you'll always be a part of The Pride family ๐Ÿค—

We miss you already.

Shannon struggled to get out of bed.

She could barely walk a few steps from the desk to the printer without feeling like an old lady.

18 months ago, Shannon joined one of our personal training pods.

Since then, she has turned up 3 times per week, every week.

Now she feels fitter, stronger and healthier.

Most importantly, she's pain free and has found something that she can stick with long term.

Shannon - Thanks for always bringing banter and laughs to our early mornings, for always giving your best and for making The Pride a warm, safe place.

โœ…๏ธ First ever pushup
โœ…๏ธ First time running in years
โœ…๏ธ Can now get up off the ground without using her hands

Not too shabby for someone who has never strength trained before, with a knee replacement, a dodgy back and started in her 60s.

If you think you're too old, too injured, too busy or too anything to start, think again.

We are so proud of you .

See you tomorrow for another great session and some more hugs ๐Ÿ’›
