Te Puna o Whakaehu: Pool Closure, Tuesday 9th June

Te Puna o Whakaehu will be closed Tuesday 9th June. This is to allow for time sensitive, electrical works in the plant room, which unfortunately, can’t take place after normal operating hours.

The contingency day for these works is Tuesday 16th June.

Te Puna o Whakaehu: Spa Pool Update

During recent retiling works on our spa pool, we encountered some additional challenges that we are working through with our contractor.

Unfortunately this means the spa pool will remain closed for longer – we don’t have a new reopening date yet, but we’ll be working as quickly as possible to complete this work and we’ll update you all once we know more.

In the meantime we thank you all for your patience.

The Deep Water aqua class at 9.10am this morning has been cancelled, due to lack of available instructors.
We apologise for any inconvenience.

Moana Pool is hosting the South Island Diving Championships starting this Friday.

The Dive/Lap pool will be unavailable during these times:

👉Friday, 5 June | 1pm – 7pm
👉Saturday, 6 June | 9am – 6pm
👉Sunday, 7 June | 8am – 2.30pm.

Just Swim lessons will run as normal but parking will be difficult so please allow extra time.

Aqua jogging will be held in the Old Dive pool or deep end of the Main pool during the event session times.

Looking for Sunday Aqua Fit? You’ll find it in the deep end of the Main pool.

It's a busy weekend at Moana Pool this King's Birthday weekend!
We are hosting the annual Neptune Kings Birthday swim meet.
The deep end of the Main Pool and four shallow end lanes will be unavailable on:

👉Saturday 30 May | session 1, 8am -11am | session 2, 1.30pm - 5:15pm
👉Sunday 31 May | session 1, 8am -11.45am | session 2, 1pm - 4.pm

Just Swim lessons will run as normal but please allow extra time for parking.
There is no public diving during the event times and Sunday Aqua Fit is cancelled.

⚠️ On Monday, 1 June Te Puna o Whakaehu and Moana Pool will be open from 9.30am to 5pm.

🛝And hooray ... the water slides will be open all day!

Our popular five-week Just Swim lessons are back to round out term two.

Kicking off Tuesday, 2 June at Moana Pool, the shorter-term duration is just right for many babies and toddlers, and preschool and school-age children.
