🫁 In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we begin to shift toward Metal element: Lung + Large Intestine. Release, refinement, letting go of what no longer belongs.

In Chinese medicine, late summer is the season of Earth: assimilation, refinement, and returning to center.

In tarot, we can think of this as the polarity of the Sun ☀️ and Moon 🌙 — clarity and reflection, what is visible and what moves beneath the surface.

The Sun brings visibility, direction, and action. The Moon brings memory, intuition, and feeling. We mediate between them.

🍲 The body asks for a slower rhythm: warm food, less input, more space to digest and metabolize.

🌾 Our practice helps us embody this transition — cultivating attention, organization, and care.

Through the lens of Chinese medicine and Katonah Yoga, the mat becomes a place to practice how we organize and inhabit our lives.
