Thanks to and Head Therapist .klassen for having me this past week at . And a round of high fives for all the therapists I worked alongside during the event.

A week of tape, wraps and treatments flashed by in a blink!

Volunteered for 8 days last week with the U18 Womens National Championship.

A shout out to Bre, Jordyn and crew from Hockey Canada for their support and to the Host Committee for pulling together across 2 venues to ensure a great event. Thanks to the teams who brought an amazing calibre of play every single game.

So many thanks go to for holding down the Glacier medical ops while I repped at CBS.

Thanks to the 9 physicians who volunteered their time and the other 7 medical crew volunteers spanning sport physio, nurse, physio, chiro, med student, and kin student!

And thanks to and for bringing the event to the area.

After Games I was not sure I'd ever think of shoveling ice without immense rage but healing is shoveling 500+lbs of ice 3 months later and only feeling peace and gratitude.

Also - sports and events are full of unsung heroes - my ice guy is the most reliable, generous, easy going and good humored dude. And efficient!! I rolled in at 9am, he dropped a fishtub of ice by my suv, we bantered, I shoveled 500ish lbs of ice into 8 coolers, and I was out of there in 15 minutes. Mad appreciation for him.

Thanks to Colin and the 4th year Athletic Therapy students for having me this morning to chat all things AT in Newfoundland and the 2025 Canada Games. Always fun to chat with the next wave of ATs!

14 years ago on MUN campus, I'd fill u/s bottles or any other mundane task for just so I could soak up time in the varsity Athletic Therapy clinic.

Surreal moment and massive feelings of gratitude to be here now, at MUN, on Canada Games eve, doing the same for the largest multisport event in Canada.

Even more surreal to have Sponsored Med colleagues from my past jobs and past Games join me here!!
