If you've been wondering whether Pilates is for you, we want you to hear this clearly: it is.
"I'm not flexible enough." "I'm too old to start." "I have an old injury."
We hear stuff like this all the time, and we understand why they feel like barriers. Swipe through, because we think you might be surprised.
DMs are always open if you want to talk it through before booking your first class.

Trying something new can feel intimidating, especially when you've never stepped onto a reformer before.
That's exactly why we created our Beginner Intro classes.
You'll learn how the reformer works, practice the foundational movements, and build confidence in a welcoming, supportive environment. There's no pressure to keep up or "know what you're doing." We guide you through everything at a pace that feels approachable, so by the end you'll feel ready to join any of our regular classes.
Beginner Class Times
• Mondays at 1:00 PM
• Wednesdays at 7:30 PM
If these times don't work for you, reach out. We'd be happy to help you find another class that's a great fit.
We can't wait to welcome you to the studio. 💙

Pilates a fad? We'd have to respectfully disagree.
Pilates has been around for over 100 years, built on a foundation of anatomy, breath, and intentional movement. That's not the lifespan of a trend - that's a practice that has stood the test of time.
But here's what conversations like this do get right: not all Pilates is created equal.
With the recent boom in popularity, certification programs have popped up everywhere - some as short as 40 hours. That's not enough to truly understand how the body moves, compensates, or heals. A great instructor needs to know anatomy, alignment, and how to adapt for every body in the room.
That's exactly what we've been doing for 20+ years.
When you come to Balanced Fitness Studio, you're not following a trend. You're investing in a practice guided by instructors who have dedicated their careers to understanding movement, safety, and what your body actually needs.
Pilates isn't going anywhere. And neither are we. 🤍
