Beautiful Glasgow... Evening before our convention starts. Served a lovely Negroni by my gorgeous nephew-in-law after a fabulous meal and look around the city. Now early night and looking forward to yoga tomorrow ❤️🙏🙂

Level 2 Iyengar teacher qualification ❤️🥰✔️
With the support of my mentor Aisling Guirke, teachers, fellow mentees (Ellen, Caroline and Linda, with whom we laughed, cried, sweated, strengthened, balanced, relaxed and survived 🤣), the learning from my students, peers, assessors, wider yoga community, Maitri Studio, the Iyengar family, this next level of teaching qualification was possible.
My fabulous family, friends, husband and daughter gave me unwavering support and got me through it too:
7 years+ , literally thousands of hours of practice and study, thousands of words in assignments, peer training sessions, train journeys, intensives, retreats, Dublin teaching skills sessions, all culminating in a 2 day assessment and "you've passed".
It's just a step along the way and I'm so grateful for all I've learned, am continuing to learn and the joy it is to practice and share with my students 🥰

Thursday morning "chair" class having fun on the ropes including my dear mom who's heading for 81. This posture is part of the backache sequence and aims to let the whole torso release. There was a lot of laughter and chat as we tried it out.
