Could teach my barber a thing or two these lads, tight lines and a fresh trim got our pitches looking absolutely pristine ready for some league action (finally) at home to St Mary’s Old Boys RFC lls this weekend 🏉

Thanks to Ash and to Brad from Prestige Grounds for sorting us out 🙌.

(I was going to tag my barber but bottled it hes nuts and would likely stab me with a pair of scissors).

Broad Plain continuing our yearly masochistic tradition of taking on teams several levels above us in pre season (also the biggest one we could find in this case).

Held our own in the first half going in to the break 0-10 down, including a few wasted chances which would have seen us level.

Gainline and set piece dominance from Bernadettes told in the end and it ran away from us in the last half an hour.

Plenty of positives to take away, (I got some fantastic river dancing practise at number 8 at the back of the scrum for one thing), 5 first team debuts, 20+ players available and I cant say a single word against the effort and fight we had right through to the end.

Onwards and upwards as we look forward to our first league outing against St Mary's 2s (and if anyone else wants to take on our fixture secretary role please let me know)
