And so the curtain falls in the third ever FCF PizzaWineQuiz Night.
And, thankfully the evening completed without incident…
…is what I would love to be able to say.
In contrast, and with violent predictability, the evening was in fact, riddled with incident ranging from miscounted score sheets, an impression round which looked like it was sponsored by Balkan 176, points deduction protests that were more colourful than a mating Cuttlefish and the 6am crews attempt at mid-quiz arson.
Highlights included the ‘fit as many Maltesers in your gob’ round and Rachel’s knee high leopard boots, which Fin tried on half way through the Random round.
Lowlight of the night was the realisation that prior to the evening I had messaged everyone to say I would provide 1 pizza per team.
What I meant to say was 1 pizza per person. Moments like this remind of why I don’t work in air traffic control.
I wish to bid a huge congratulations to Chloe, Dan, Janet, Nina, Molly and Julius of team Bad Rep-utation for being crowned our quiz winners.

WINTER…
Winter has felt loooong and my plan to shed 10kg has been paused. Recently, I’ve spent my life freezing my Charlie’s off (joys of an industrial unit in the winter!).
The last thing my body is telling me to do is restrict calories - so - I’m just rolling along, focusing on training.
I’ve really felt this with our clients too.
My advice: no biggie. Warmer days are floating towards us, it’ll all feel easier in 4 weeks time.
For now, it’s a Solo Sunday Sesh.
I really couldn’t be arsed but I’ve made a promise to rely on discipline, not how I feel on the day so here goes:
