Sport & Wellbeing Officer

📍 Location: Darlington
🕒 Hours: Part-time (16–20 hours per week)
💷 Salary: National Living Wage

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated individual to help deliver our growing programme of football, sport, physical activity and wellbeing opportunities across schools, community settings and club programmes throughout Darlington.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the region’s fastest-growing community clubs and play a key role in creating more opportunities for women and girls to become active, improve their wellbeing and reach their potential.

Whether your background is in coaching, education, community development, youth work or health and wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you.

🎉 We’re delighted to share that FC Darlington Locomotives has been awarded funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.

Thanks to the incredible support of National Lottery players, we’ll be expanding our work across Darlington by developing partnerships with local schools, preschools, community organisations, green spaces and older adult groups, creating more opportunities for women and girls to be active, improve their wellbeing and connect with others.

This funding will help us reach more people, strengthen community partnerships and remove barriers to participation, ensuring even more women and girls can benefit from safe, welcoming and inclusive opportunities.

🚨 New Development Centre Hub Launch 🚀

On Tuesday 28th July 2026, we will be launching our new Skerne Park Hub.

This will provide FREE female football for ages 5+ every week.

All details can be found on the poster, with separate session posters due to be released in the coming days!
