The Quakers are set to face a stern test at Gateshead.
But with 2 wins and 1 draw in their last 3 games, the team is feeling confident about building on recent form.

Darlo lads back in action at Eastbourne today against a very good and resilient Pontefract team.

The lads looking to keep this positive run going, started off well with a lot of possession but found ourselves in a sticky spot when Pontefract were awarded a penalty…….. up steps Flood with a cracking bottom corner save and up quickly to save the rebound.
Going in 0-0 at HT.

Second half we start with a lot more aggression and purpose and finally made the break threw thanks to Josh, then like buses another 2 goals followed from Ethan & Jake saw us 3-0 up.
Playing some of our best football of the season.
Confidence is high at the minute, and some the football on show definitely showed that today.
unfortunately Pontefract grabbed a late consolation goal denying the lads a clean sheet.

Huge shout to Jarret and the boys for the effort, intensity and quality not just on game day but training. Definitely a buzz about the place again.

This week the young quakers are looking to take on Pontefract at home.

After a strong performance to Local rivals Hartlepool ending 1-1. The lads look onto this week’s fixture against Pontefract where they look to build on and continue with this momentum and put 3 points on the board.

Another Return as Ethan Watkin-Brown is back in action this week

Points sharing with feisty derby encounter.

Darlington dominated the ball in the early parts of the game, and were rewarded when Harry hodgson scored a good team move.
Darlo continued to Control the first half with large period with the ball. But a sucker punch saw Hartlepool equalised with a cross/shot late in the half.

The lads kept battling and creating opportunities for each other, the work rate & fighting spirit from the whole squad today was outstanding.
Scotter & Mcloughin controlling the midfield, were just two lads to mention.
But Unfortunately the lads couldn’t grab a winner.

A huge plus for the darlo was the long awaited return of Josh Milburn entering the pitch and creating chances and being a nightmare for the opposition.

The lads are back in training friday. Looking to carry on this form onto next Wednesday.
