End of the season for us lads. Wishing thanks to those involved and especially to those who have come to support us. We had a great day yesterday on the beers also with some cracking entertainment from Toni Anderson. Our presentation awards were as follows -

Player of the year - Robson Brown
Top Goalscorer - Ryan Wright
Managers Player of the year - Harvey Wright
Players Player of the year - Scott Bryden

Brandon Sports Club 5-2 Bearpark

Well that's a wrap! Another season in the bag and a fitting way to finish it with a rare Louis Mudd goal and a 100th club goal for MOM Ryan Wright. Mudd, wearing the gaffers boots got on to his stronger foot after cutting in from the left, curling one into the far corner. Wright got his first after a sublime Robbie Murray ball over the top put him one on one with the keeper, he calmly slotted it home. We made it 3-0 after a great move involving the forward line, Robson Brown slid the ball to Leo Garbutt who calmly passed the ball into the net from the edge of the box. Bearpark, who gave a great account of themselves were never out of the game, reduced the deficit from the penalty spot after Mudd thought he was in the NBA. Garbutt put us even further ahead after great work down the left from Wright, his cut back found Leo who slammed the ball home from close range. Bearpark never gave up and made it a nervy finish, scoring a low strike to make it 4-2. Wright had several chances to get his elusive 100 however the Bearpark keeper thwarted him time after time before a last minute penalty finally gave him 100 club goals for Brandon Sports Club.

We'll wait and see if we get promoted in third. And we'll have a good slurp today.

It's Matchday!

It's our final game of the season this morning with a potential promotion still in our hands. Grab your raincoat, bar opens 1130am

Football Card update..

The card has now SOLD! Thanks to everyone who bought a team, we will draw this on our presentation day this SUNDAY where some lucky so and so will walk away with £600!

Brandon Sports Club 1-2 Aycliffe Juniors

Another midweek defeat sets up an interesting final day of the season as we threw away a lead in bizarre circumstances. Going ahead to a lively Leo Garbutt finish where the keeper fumbled into his own net, with seconds remaining in the first half we've not cleared a routine long ball and then conceded directly from a corner. Second half we never got going on our concrete pitch, we were happy playing the percentages which never conjured up any kind of chance. At our end we've again failed to clear another ball into the box and Aycliffe have capitalized putting them ahead midway through the second half making it 1-2. Garbutt was denied what looked to be a stonewall penalty late on however it was waved off by the referee.

Third place is very much in our own hands as we welcome Bearpark to the club on Sunday, which is now a must win game.

Some really positive comments from HC Travel Solutions after our cup final. Thanks to all who travelled with us and although we never got the result we wanted we still had a great night.

If anyone is ever wanting any transport this company is top. 👍

Tomorrow night we have our penultimate game of the season at home to Aycliffe Juniors. To say we owe them one is an understatement as they were the team who ended our unbelievable unbeaten record in 2026 a couple of weeks ago.
