A week today around 20 of our members will be taking part in the Kiltwalk — in aid of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, who have made a massive difference to one of our members newborn girl.
Every penny we raise goes towards making a difference for sick children and their families. If you can spare anything at all, your support would mean the world to them.

We have planned a bit of a back off with the diet over the Christmas period for Tracy. Calories up, and a bit more relaxed with the steps etc.
Time to actually enjoy some food again 🤣

There’s a first for everything and for our member Jonny a triathlon was right up there with his biggest firsts.
Swim/Bike/Run, in 90* heat out in Thailand and for a non-swimmer, non-cyclist, non-runner, he didn’t too badly.
We created a macro periodised plan over the course of almost nine months to take Jonny from a standing start to standing star at the ned of the Tri.
This plan included several super compensation periods, recovery elements, test events, tapering, ramping up the heat again before a final taper to make sure he was fully prepared, rested and primed to perform at the very best he could. Jonny’s work was to first build strength, create endurance from that and become a strong swimmer (with a consultant coach), cyclist and never-give-in. A non-stop runner to complete his first ever triathlon.
Jonny, we salute you and can’t wait for news of the next epic challenge.

Can we just take a second 👏🏻👏🏻
with an unreal transformation.
Before we started Nicola was a bit nervous in a gym setting and I’m sure a bit dubious to wether we could get her results.
But she’s put the graft in (not without a moan or 3) and the results speak for themselves.
We’ve not actually asked her this but we’re sure she’s much more confident in the gym now, and as a wee bonus she’s now pretty fu***ng strong too.
