This could easily be a different story. Not long ago I had someone message me saying “I wish I had just went for it when you first spoke about your coaching.” Instead they waited, tried to do it themselves, went round in circles and ended up starting months later anyway.
Here’s what happens to the lads who actually take action when the opportunity’s there. One dropped body fat and felt sharper on the pitch within weeks. Another finally got consistency instead of starting and stopping every Monday. Another said it was the first time he’d actually stuck to something long enough to see proper change. Not because they’re different, but because they stopped waiting.
That’s the difference. Same coaching, same plan, same support, just different timing.
Now here’s the reality. The lads who hesitate, think about it or wait for the perfect time are usually the same ones still stuck in the same place months later. The ones who go for it are the ones who look back in a few months and are glad they did.
That’s why I’m doing this just now. 1 free coaching spot and 50% off for others. Same coaching, just a chance to get started without overthinking it.
If you’re sitting there thinking “I know I need to sort this”, this is probably for you.

I almost didn’t write this post.
But if I don’t share my story, the men who need to hear it never will.
For years I was out most weekends, doing all sorts, only really caring about football and the next night out. If I’m being honest, just being a bit of a f***y. I told myself I was struggling mentally, but looking back a lot of it was hangovers and comedowns. Low energy, not showing up properly at home, and not being the best version of myself.
Anybody that knows me knows I still enjoy a night out. But there’s a difference between enjoying yourself and doing it every weekend. That catches up with you physically, but more importantly mentally.
When you start looking after yourself properly, your body improves over time, but your head gets clearer as well.
I did start going to the gym and made some
progress, but there was no structure. Since then I’ve made every mistake going. Diets, plans, running myself into the ground. At the time I thought it was right, looking back I just cringe.
One thing I will say though, the gym changed my life. Not just how I looked, but how I felt and how I performed on the pitch.
Looking back, I wish I had help. It would’ve saved me years of going round in circles.
Now I help lads in that exact same position.
Guys who are stuck, doing a bit of everything but not really getting anywhere. Helping them build structure, get results and actually feel better in themselves.
That’s why I’m doing this.
I’m giving away 1 free coaching spot and 50% off for others. Same coaching, just a chance to get started.
If this sounds like you, this could be your turning point.

Quick one…
What would you actually do
if money wasn’t the thing holding you back?
Because let’s be honest…
Most guys I speak to don’t lack effort
They don’t lack motivation
They just don’t have a proper plan
Or anyone keeping them accountable
And on top of that…
They either
👉 aren’t willing to give anything up
or
👉 think they need to give up everything to get started
So they stay stuck in the same cycle
Start
Stop
Start again
“Monday again”
Sound familiar?
That was me as well.
I thought I just needed to be more disciplined
But really I just needed structure
And someone in my corner keeping me right
That’s the difference.
That’s what I coach now.
Not just training plans
Not just calories
👉 structure
👉 accountability
👉 something that actually fits your life
So you can still live your life
without feeling like you need to sacrifice everything to make progress
And that’s why I’m doing this giveaway
Because I know there are lads right now
exactly where I was
Wanting to change
But putting it off
If that’s you…

I’m launching my first ever giveaway.
£2500 worth of 1-1 coaching spots are up for grabs.
Before you ask why I’m doing this…
I’ve rebuilt my coaching into a new version.
Everything I’ve learned from my own journey and coaching others
The good and the bad
This is the best it’s been.
But the real reason this matters to me…
I remember going round in circles.
Out most weekends
Not wanting to miss out
But knowing deep down I was slipping
“Starting Monday” every week
And getting nowhere
I told myself I was struggling mentally
When really I was just rough all the time
That was the truth.
When I finally said enough is enough
Everything changed
But looking back…
I tried to do it all myself
And it probably took me twice as long because of it
That’s why I still want to help as many people as I can.
So this is me giving that opportunity to someone else.
👉 1 FREE 3 month coaching spot
And for the rest…
👉 9 spots at 50% off
Not a watered down version
The exact same coaching
Just at a level that makes it easier to get started
If you feel like you’re stuck in that same cycle…

Trying to be one of the lads cost me more than I realised.
Out most weekends
Diet all over the place
“Starting Monday” every week
I thought it was normal.
I thought I was just enjoying myself.
But in reality…
I was going backwards.
My football was suffering
I had no energy
I wasn’t showing up properly at home
I even told myself I was struggling mentally
When really it was hangovers and comedowns
That was a hard truth to face.
The turning point wasn’t some big dramatic moment
It was just realising…
👉 if nothing changes nothing changes
So I started small
Saying no to nights out
Eating better
Training with some structure
Was it perfect? Not even close
Made plenty mistakes along the way
But I stuck to it.
And that changed everything.
Now I’m in better shape
Better on the pitch
And most importantly in a better place mentally
And the biggest thing?
👉 I still enjoy myself
👉 I still have a life
Just with structure now.
If any of this sounds like you…
You’re not stuck
But nothing will change unless you do.
Message me “ATHLETE” and we’ll have a chat 🤝
Have a good Easter weekend 🐣

Aye I know it says Day 2.
Started yesterday like I said I would. Fitness test, drills, straight to football after. Never got my dinner tae nearly half nine. Wasn’t exactly stopping tae take a photo.
But that’s kind of the whole point isn’t it.
I’ve spent the last few weeks talking about why busy men don’t start. How it’s no laziness it’s just life getting in the way. How you don’t need perfect conditions you just need to show up.
Yesterday was my first real test of that. Boxes still got ticked.
So here we are. Week 1 Day 2. This is the starting point.
75.3kg. 15.7% body fat.
New job.
Toddler
Coaching business.
Hanging on by my finger tips at football 👴🏻
A full life.😰
New environment now too. Higher standards being set around me every day. The habits need to match where I’m heading.
So I’m locking in for the next 17 weeks and doing this live in front of yous. No dramatic transformation. Just a busy man getting his habits dialled in under real pressure and documenting it honestly.
The good weeks and the hard ones. All of it.
Because that’s what I ask every man I coach to do. Least I can do is show yous I’m willing to do it myself.
Follow along for the journey. And if you’re a busy man who wants the same structure built around your life to make this summer a bit different
DM me ATHLETE. 👊
Have a good week. 🤝💪🏻

Tomorrow it starts.
For years I moaned about my job. Hated it. Knew something had to change but just kept showing up and saying nothing because it was a safe job. Sound familiar?
Eventually I got fed up of my own excuses and done something about it.
Told my wee boy his dad’s joining the fire brigade. No sure he fully understood it but he loves fire engines and judging by the thumbs up he wis pretty buzzing about it
There’s something about seeing yourself through your kids eyes that puts everything into perspective. They don’t see the nerves or the doubt. They just see their old da doing something cool.
And that’s what tomorrow is about for me. Backing myself. Doing something hard. Starting something new.
It’s the same thing I say to every man I work with. The guys juggling jobs and families and real life whilst trying to hold onto some version of themselves that still feels capable and strong.
The timing’s never perfect mate. You just have to go.
Tomorrow I go. And I’m bringing yous along for the whole journey. The training, the shifts, football and the reality of trying to build a coaching business whilst starting something completely new.
Speak to you soon

A lot of men avoid getting back into fitness because they think it means giving up their life
No nights out
Perfect diet
Living in the gym
Now obviously sacrifices matter. Something needs to change or you wouldn’t be in the position you’re in just now.
If nothing changes, nothing changes.
That’s usually why people feel off track in the first place.
And if you’ve got a strict goal or a short timeframe then yeah, things tighten up for a bit.
But most people aren’t chasing a deadline.
They just want to feel fitter
look better
and feel better upstairs as well.
Because when you start moving more, eating a bit better and getting a routine back, the head usually improves with it.
That needs something sustainable.
Not perfect weeks.
Just fewer write-offs… and more boxes ticked than not ticked over time.
Master the bounce-back effect.
