That’s a lot of money šŸ’°

There’s no doubt about it mate

Coaching’s a big expense

It can cause serious doubts when it comes to investing in a programme

ā€œWhat if you don’t stick to itā€

ā€œWhat if you spend the money and don’t get the resultsā€

Normally these doubts come from a ton a previous f**k ups when it comes to getting in great shape

You’ve f**ked it multiple times so what’s the point in spending a huge chunk of cash just to f**k it again

I’d like to flip your perspective mate

The reason you haven’t succeeded so far

You haven’t had the right level of coaching to stop you f**king it

You haven’t been around enough people who get your struggles

Most guys who come into the rebuild have worked with coaches in the past

Coaches who’ve handed them a training and diet plan and trained them for an hour each week

Which is fine. I’ve been there and done that

But for you mate the big problems are in other areas

Your weekend habits

Your ability to stay consistent long term

The way you get in your own head after one slip up

This is what The Rebuild sorts

We get you mate. We’ve been exactly where you are

Questioning your motivation and ability to follow through on your commitments

Here’s the thing…

Yes ā€˜The Rebuild’ will cost you a fair chunk of cash

But what’s it costing you by constantly repeating the same cycles over and over?

And

What would happen if to every area of your life if you could get into great shape and stay there?

I love going out for food 🄩 šŸ•

One of the biggest barriers we see for guys who want to go from decent shape to great shape

They love food

Or in fact…they love going out for food

It’s what you and your Mrs do

Let’s be honest mate

Sitting in a cracking restaurant with a bottle of wine of a couple of pints is enjoyable

When you’re thinking about getting into great shape you think…

ā€œDo I really want to give this upā€?

I’m with you mate. I’ve been the same

I’m not going to sit here and tell you that you can do that every weekend and get in great shape

You can’t

What I will tell you

Once we get you in great shape in 6-8 weeks time

Then we can teach you how to enjoy these things every weekend

Phase one of the rebuild will require you to make sacrifices

You might need a bit of understanding from the mrs for a few weeks

You might need to say no to a few things but once we hit phase 2…

That’s where life gets enjoyable

Not only will you be in the shape of your life

We will teach you the skills and arm you with the knowledge to be able to eat out every weekend…

Put a few pints or wines away and keep the incredible results you got in phase 1

Because let’s be honest mate

What’s the point in getting in shape if you are never going to be able to do the things you enjoy šŸ¤

Breaking the Binge / Restrict Cycle šŸ‘Š

Dean was always your classic all or nothing guy

He had a great track record of eating well Monday to Friday

Quite often he’d eat as little as 1500 calories mid week

The weight would be falling off

Then the weekend would hit

One of 2 things happened….

1ļøāƒ£ He started to crave all sorts and the weekend would turn into a food binge

2ļøāƒ£ He would be so scunnered with over restriction that he’d end up having a blow out with his mates

This could lead into a spiral…

Too f**ked to train on a Monday

Takeaway phoned to make you feel better

That’s this week f**ked now…might as well just wait to next week to start again

His weight loss would shoot back up and he’d think…

What’s the point?

You can’t actually see a way of dieting and staying on track without f**king it

What changed for Dean being in the programme

1ļøāƒ£ He lost over 20kg of weight

But most importantly

He totally changed his relationship with food

He learned that his 1500 calorie approach was the root cause of most of his problems

From binge eating to getting on it

He learned how to fuel his body properly so he didn’t struggle with motivation or feeling burnt out and knackered come a Friday

Once this was nailed everything else started to fall into place

He was even eating as much as 2800 calories at one point 🤯

Weight loss isn’t a game of starving yourself

Yes you’ll get results fast

But the binges that destroy your confidence in yourself

Those are a result of that

So mate…

Be careful

The very thing that’s getting the scales moving fast might just be the very thing that’s causing them to shoot back up

Where’s the biscuits? šŸŖ

For years my approach to food was the classic all or nothing mentality

I’d either be tracking every crumb I ate on my fitness pal

Eating chicken, rice and broccoli

Tins of tuna

F**k me I remember a time I blended broccoli and drank it between clients

What a muppet šŸ˜‚

The end result was always the same

I’d get in decent shape

Then within 2-3 months I’d lose the plot

My diet was still pretty good

I’ve always ate well

I’d make sure I ate protein and veg with my meals

But because my approach was restrictive and boring

After a few weeks I’d start seriously over eating

Full packets of biscuits

Sneaky rolls and bacon šŸ„“

Takeaways after a long day

I’d keep doing this until I put on a good few KG’s and the T-shirts got a bit tight around the belly…

Then it was time to diet again

This is the problem with restrictive dieting

Yes you get the initial result

But it doesn’t sort your relationship with food

I was stuck in a poor mindset that training always meant restriction

It meant for about 8 weeks every year I was all guns blazing

Then the other god knows how many weeks I’d be frustrated at my lack of control

Always beating myself up

Why couldn’t i be on it all the time?

What went wrong?

Why can’t I stop eating at night?

Now things are very different

I’ve managed to get to a weight I look good but more importantly stay at that weight

What changed?

I stopped being so restrictive

Eating under 2000 calories per day for any guy isn’t sustainable

And if you go lower than that mate…

You’re f**ked…no wonder you binge every few days

Once you get the weight down…

Go through periods of higher calories and track them

Those urges to binge will start to disappear forever

This is exactly what we teach guys in phase 2 of the rebuild

Once you have this nailed eating out and having a few drinks at the weekend will never knock you off track šŸ‘Š

One slip up was a disaster 🫣

Johnny expected a lot from himself ⁣

He had extremely high standards in every area of his life

⁣But when it came to his fitness it massively held him back ⁣

⁣I said to him on our initial phone consultation... ⁣

ā£ā€œYou’re very hard on yourself mate, we need to work on thatā€ ⁣

⁣See before when Johnny tried to get his s**t together ⁣

⁣He’d do well for a few weeks ⁣

⁣Then when one wee slip up happened ⁣

⁣A bad days eating ⁣

Missed workout ⁣or a workout that didn’t feel great

A night out ⁣

⁣Then the stories started…

ā€œF**ked it againā€ā£

ā€œWhat’s the pointā€

⁣He’d get so in his head about this one small slip up and he’d give up soon after

Think ā€œwhat’s the pointā€?

⁣Then after a while he’d start again and go through the same process again

Each time it got harder to start because failure felt inevitable

This started to trickle over into every area of his life

Small decisions started to become a mental battle

⁣In the 90 days he worked with us, he wasn’t perfect ⁣
⁣
He missed the odd workout ⁣

Occasionally over ate ⁣
⁣
Even had a couple of big weekends ⁣

⁣What changed? ⁣

⁣His mindset ⁣

He managed to stop over thinking

He finally got out his own head and out of his own way

He stopped viewing a small slip up as a catastrophe

Why?

He learned you never do as much damage as you think

In 90% of cases the damage is in your head

Not in reality

This is what we teach guys in level one of The rebuild…

The regain phase šŸ‘Š

The mindset needed for success

Yes we give you a training and nutrition plan

That’s a given

But we go a step further and help you develop a mindset that’s produces relentless consistency

That is ready for any challenge that comes their way

Once that’s in place the sky is the limit for anyone
⁣
This is why coaching is so important

We know you aren’t set up to fail mate

You just aren’t sure how to programme your mindset to succeed

That’s what we teach you inside the rebuild

The question I’d ask you mate

What could you achieve if you could get out your own head and stop second guessing yourself?

08/05/2023

F**ked it again…what’s the point?

For years I was stupidly hard on myself

My own worst enemy

I expected absolute perfection and the second I didn’t achieve it I’d be disappointed

These expectations seriously dented my confidence

I expected to be able to do everything at 100% and the second I had one slip up it was fatal

ā€œYour not cut out for thisā€

ā€œYou need to do betterā€

ā€œWhy you even botheringā€

It would cause me to fall away from training for what could a couple of days, a week or maybe more

Then I’d get angry and frustrated at myself and start the whole process again

This time I’d think…

ā€œI just need to try harder and force myself to do moreā€

More workouts

More intensity

Stricter diet

I’d manage at first then the cracks would appear

I’d feel like a workout could have gone better

Or i’d eat one thing slightly off plan

Maybe it was a couple of beers

ā€œYou’ve f**ked it again. Why you even tryingā€

It would riddle me with self doubt

I’d created this unrealistic hard work story in my head that I’d never be able to stick with

It was impossible not to fail

This came from growing up and hearing guys say

ā€œYou just need to get on with itā€

Which can be true mate. Sometimes you do

But what I learned is that in the last few years

I actually have a great work ethic

I love getting on with it

I just need a realistic plan

One that is focussed on progressing instead of aimlessly destroying me

Training should not be about killing yourself

Yes there’s a time and a place for this and it’s something I love time to time

It’s the reason I like taking on big challenges

But if your expectation of yourself is that you should be able to do this every workout

Your always going to struggle to find that consistency you crave mate šŸ‘Š

05/05/2023

You need help with the ā€œSat Navā€, not the accelerator mate….

You are already a f**king savage 🫔

Putting the work in, ability to ā€œgrind it outā€ā€¦

Is NOT your limiting factor right now

What we need to do is harness that phenomenal work ethic

And channel it

To make you more efficient, more effective

Because mate, let’s be brutally honest

Doing 12-14 hour days is a young man’s game

I know you’re already thinking a lot about the future

Where you’re going with things

What the next level is for you and your business

(We were exactly the same until a couple of years ago)

Do you really want to be working as much in your 40s with a young family?

Didn’t think so

For you it’s no longer about working harder

It’s about working smarter

New levels, new devils and all that

The first step is getting a handle on your energy levels

Getting you ā€œon pointā€ will create the time and clarity to make important decisions

We’ve actually recorded a free 5 minute podcast on exactly this

It’s called

ā€œSupercharge Yourself for Maximum Productivityā€

If you’d like me to send you it? Just double tap this post or drop me a DM saying the word ā€œenergyā€

And I’ll hook you up šŸ¤

Experiences vs escapism…

My opinion on drugs and alcohol has changed over the last few years

They used to be a really negative part of my life

I wasn’t an addict or anything

Far from it

But there was a period where every time I had a ā€œseshā€,

The over riding feelings were guilt, regret, embarrassment and serious frustration

Yet those feelings didn’t deter me from ā€œf**king itā€ again a couple of weeks later…

Which lead to massive self doubt

On reflection, it wasn’t the beers (or ā€œnose beersā€) that were the problem

They were a symptom of another problem - how I felt

Which at the time was overworked, stressed and bored

ā€œPartyingā€ was just a way to change these feelings

A means of escapism - which I now know ain’t good

When I got a handle on the actual problem and in a better place mentally and physically?

I didn’t feel that urge to get on it every single weekend

So did I just cut everything out and live like a monk?

At one point…yes I completed a year off the booze

The big thing that done was change my relationship with these things

See what I learned is I don’t value getting on it aimlessly every weekend - that’s where the self doubt came from.

But I do value having new experiences.

Having class days out now and again

I did miss this at times when I done the year off the booze

In the past 2 years I’ve been to huge football derbies across the world, been to over 15 countries, been to some incredible clubs in ibiza and Berlin and also had some cracking days out with my mates for the football

Sometimes I’ve indulged

Sometimes I’ve been sober.

Never felt regret.

What I once viewed as ā€œguilty pleasuresā€, are now ā€œexperience enhancersā€ā€¦

So mate If you have that same negative relationship I had, here’s my advice

šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøDitch the pointless mad ones
šŸ‹šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø Start looking after yourself
šŸ™Œ Book up those experiences you keep putting off

After all mate…

Life is for living and you want to look back and remember all the cool s**t you’ve done šŸ‘Š

When fitness ruins everything ā˜¹ļø

There’s been times in my life I’ve felt very conflicted about training

I’ve never really knew why but I just felt like it got in the road

Work would be mental

Shannon would be wanting to go out for dinner or cake and a coffee

I’d feel torn

I knew I should train but I really wanted to work or eat the cake

It caused internal conflict

If I didn’t hit the gym I’d regret it

If I ate the cake I’d regret it

You probably know that feeling mate

One the the things I’ve understood this year

Fitness will never be an enjoyable part of your life if it conflicts with what you value

Values are pretty much your priorities in life

Mines are simple

1ļøāƒ£ Work
2ļøāƒ£ Relationship with Shannon
3ļøāƒ£ Travel and experiences

For me to succeed with training it has to fit around these things otherwise I’ll just make myself miserable

I’ll always feel like I’m missing out

This is the exact way we build out the rebuild

We help guys figure out what they value in life and then we create a plan to allow them to live around the things they value

We know work is the priority mate

We know you probably want to be able to go for dinner with the mrs at the weekend

And we know 100% you want to be able to go on holiday and enjoy it

That’s exactly what we teach you how to do

Otherwise you’ll just do what you’ve always done

Force yourself through a 12 week training plan, revert back to old habits and wonder where it all went wrong

Starving and Exhausted ā˜¹ļø

This was previous attempts at dieting

He felt completely disheartened with the gym

In his word…

ā€œI'd batter it for 3-4 weeks and tire myself out while cutting calories which just turned into into an exhausting chore"

We actually spoke to Stephen a year ago about joining the programme but he wanted to try it himself

He thought smashing more cardio and eating less was the answer

This made change very challenging because starving yourself was always going to lead to dips in motivation for Stephen

Now he has learned that's not the case

He trains 3-4 days per week now to work around his extremely busy lifestyle

In the last 12 weeks he's lost 14kg and hes at a weight he'd failed attempting to get to multiple times over the last 10 years

His energy levels are through the roof and his increased strength has made work and every day tasks much easier

The biggest change has been the organisation this has brought to his life

He wakes up every day with a positive attitude and energy to get s**t done

By his own admission...before he started he was a procrastinator but now when he thinks of s**t to do it gets ticked off quickly

Absolutely incredible to see your effort mate

You've been a legend
