Confession time I love watching Worlds Strongest Man in awe of their strength and resilience. However what we have in common is consistency and systems set up to schedule weight training, cardio and yoga into weekly routines. Week in week out not once in a while or when you feel like it. Hello June!
May was mixed fitness-wise walked 29.4 miles, gym x 13 times, yoga x 6 times and a stair climb challenge, no cycling. Feel I've been eating more healthily and it shows in my skin and body. How was May for you?

Working yesterday something different Musical Forest part of where theme was "take action." NHS 6 Pillars of health are:
Physical Activity
Sleep
Mental wellbeing
Healthy nutrition
Healthy relationships
Minimising harmful substances
We addressed these through activities such as health walks, music, art, singing, meditation, free soup packs and signposted to other health services.
Lovely to see so many people of all ages enjoying the fantastic green spaces we have in Scotland.See more....

Been a very busy few weeks with work and family commitments. My daughter, Mhairi obviously gets her hardwork, dedication and persistence from me. However, as I get older I realise REST is important too so this weekend I am going to prioritise it to aid my wellbeing and encourage my daughter to do the same after a small celebration of course. Have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing

1st May or Mayday. Last night at yoga we were chatting about experience which only comes with practice and its the same in yoga. You will get to know your body so much more with practicing yoga more often. We're off next week 7th May as hall bring used for the elections. So practice some yoga at home. It doesn't need to be perfect or the right sequence any poses will do!
