This is something I genuinely regret.
Not because I didn’t like how I looked.
But because I don’t have enough photos with my Dad when he was alive, and not enough with my Mam before dementia changed so much.
At the time, you never think about it.
You assume there’ll always be another family gathering, another day out, another photo.
Then one day you realise there aren’t as many memories captured as you’d like.
Don’t spend your life waiting until you’re fitter, leaner, or more confident before getting in the picture.
The people who love you aren’t looking at your body fat percentage.
They’re looking at you.
