So many times during client consultations when I ask what sort of fitness they currently do, they say “I only walk” . Walking is not to be frowned upon and if that is all you can do then do it …consistently! There are so many benefits of walking, if you can afford to invest 20-30 minutes into your health everyday then walking is a great way to start!

I’ve been training Abraham for a little over a year now. He first came to me to improve his running form so we set to work with strength training, lots of single leg exercises to improve his weaker side (usually the left of your body if you’re right handed!). He then requested that I provide him with a 6 month plan to run The Isle of Wight Ultra, choosing a distance of 106 kilometres 😳👣
This guy absolutely smashed his training and race; it has been a pleasure to follow him on Strava and see how his speed, strength and stamina took shape. What an amazing goal to have reached, well done 🙌🏼 Abraham Crowley! 🎉

It’s wasn’t easy being a single Mum, working, studying and training for marathons - that’s what I used to do… in April 2019 I decided to launch my business - I wanted to help people like me become the best they could be!

Roll on 5 years and *40* 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 Star Google Ratings, I feel I’ve pretty much smashed it!

I love anniversaries as it’s a time to reminisce and appreciate all the good/bad times that have gone by.

The photos in this post reflect the 5 years, my son has grown so much, we all survived Covid, my Mum and sister used to come and work out on my patio (when I had no clients!), the Unit that was kindly given up to us .helen the running clients that have smashed their PB’s (makes me feel so proud) and my logo which means you work from your feet up - have strong foundations - work with your Soul, the Sun (Sol) and stay grounded (soles)! 🌞👣

I love that I am able to take this opportunity to thank each and every person that has got me and my business to where I am today - 🙏🏼 Huge thanks to you all - let’s keep going - big plans are afoot! (No pun intended)!

What an amazing journey from the 12 weeks of training to the finish line!
My 7th full marathon was almost interrupted with a bout of covid and a heatwave….luckily I recovered in time and we had some rain yesterday.

My New Forest Marathon Training Runs to date..I have 2 weeks left to taper now. The time has passed so quickly and the majority of the runs have been enjoyable - I also run 5 & 10ks each week which I use as my interval/faster pace runs and I strength train focusing on single leg and core work.
I have learnt that too much caffeine can give you muscle cramps 😣
This will be my 7th marathon- I strongly believe it is all in the training and the lead up to race day…eating, drinking and sleeping well 😀
