I hate doing videos π€£. Early morning Bootcamp starts another 6 week block next week. Only my second run this week π± and you can tell by the way Strava mugged me off telling I pushed hard in the endurance zones when it was supposed to be an easy run that I definitely need to do bit more. ππ€£β€οΈ to be fair Iβm quite enjoying not having anything to train for at the moment. It means I can do whatever I want in the week so Iβve played some padel. ( yes I am that bloke ππ€£ ) done some rowing, some weights and some running so Iβm ticking over while I try and get some fitness back again. ππ»πͺπ».

The first week back from holiday and we are straight back into it. Apparently they all missed me β¦. π€£ thatβs what I heard anyway π
Thereβs been some massive efforts from all my teams this week. Itβs good to be back at it , and June looks like a good month of training.

A few easy Ks in the pi***ng rain this morning π§οΈ this time last week I was running up hills in Greece in 30 degree heat π₯΅π which was a touch more pleasant. To be fair though I really enjoyed this today. Hardly anyone around just a load of ducks having the best time. The ankle is starting to feel pretty good again so itβs just working on that fitness β¦β¦ π¬π¨πΌβπ¦³πͺπ» ππ»

It was the Romsey 5 mile beer race today. Iβd completely forgotten Iβd signed up for this one π€£ I wasnβt sure I was even going to run It until last night. This is the furthest Iβve run since my ankle injury but it was also my first run in the colours so I thought Iβd give it a go. Itβs a hilly old course and Iβm nowhere near match fitness but it was good to be involved and getting a pint and a bit of cake at the finish won me over π€£π°πΊ.

Park run no 98. A bit of a culture shock after enjoying 28 degrees in Greece yesterday to 14 degrees and raining back home today ππ€£ it was good to catch up with my man though and after a week of drinking mythos everyday π¬πΊ and not much running taking 2 minutes off park run a couple of weeks ago it feels like the comeback is getting there ππ»π€π» Iβll see how the ankle goes tomorrow before I start celebrating though .

First run as a 51 year old ππ¨πΌβπ¦³π€£ it was a tough one today as well. Proper warm out here and really fu**in hilly π ran down to the town to the sea but there were too many people there looking at me like I was a Martian to take a photo π«£π³ so I turned round and came back the way I came π€£ππ»πͺπ».

It would appear all Greek islands are the same. 400m of flat ground and then nothing but hills π₯΅π a little look around this morning to see whatβs about. This was a stern test for the ankle and the fitness and I think the ankle fairer better π€£π₯΅πͺπ»

I really wanted to do a trail run this morning but the ankle told me to not be a dick π so I got the bike instead. It was absolutely delightful out there today ππ» loads of horses and not many people. I now want a proper gravel bike and more Lycra π€£ππ³ππ΄.
