Day two of the Central Levin LC Car Wholesale Two Day Triples, and our teams did not disappoint!
Whilst after day 1, both were longshots to finish in the placings, our teams came out fired up on Day two and put in some big performances. In particular, our Juniors excelled with some great play across the day.
Skip Barry Jordan was extremely impressed by the overall performance of his two juniors, Colin Holden and Bill Armour.
Skip Craig Orth conveyed he was honoured to witness a standout day from junior Ange Tibble, who played out of her skin with a near faultless day two exhibition.
Ange was so impressive, that opposition skips and players on adjacent rinks continually praised her performance throughout the day.
As a result of such great leading, supported by big shot deliveries from Shaun Coates, Craig’s side went undefeated on day two.
All in all, a great effort from our six, who left a good impression on both the other entrants and the Central Levin BC.
Not to go empty handed, the team did leave as winners in some way with our very own King of the Raffles chalking up another lucky raffle win, even predicting exactly which of his ticket numbers would be drawn out as a winner!
A huge thank you and congratulations to the organisers and greenkeepers of Central Levin BC for a spectacularly well run tournament and we look forward to returning next year!
