During daylight savings months we offer training to licensed riders from 5pm on a Thursday. We have built a UCI standard track for our club and local community at Ian Galloway Park, Karori. The facility is already a destination for riders from all around the Wellington region and membership is growing. We train and race, with ability-based motos, suitable for riders of all ages. A pro-line section is available for NZ's elite riders. Capital BMX race on Sunday mornings during the summer months, Sept-Mar, with the first gate dropping at 10:30 am. Registration from 10:00 am
Novice training from 9:30-10:15 am

Thursday nights training 6:00-7:00 pm during daylight savings. Racing and training are free for club-members and $2 for members of other BMX clubs. If you want to have a go before joining, for $10 the club can lend you a bmx bike, full face helmet and gloves for the session. We need a parent or guardian at the track with children (16 years and under) who are riding. This applies for both training and club racing. If something happens, we want you there. Please sign in and stay for the session. Winter season we run Sunday morning gate sessions, weather permitting; and will advertise on our page when we're on.

It's looking like a stay at home day on Sunday - too wet and windy for riding. Enjoy the sleep in folks!

What an amazing day to open our 2026/2027 BMX season! We had 23 new riders come and check us out - we loved seeing all your smiling faces and hope to see you back again soon.
Our regulars and newest members had a blast competing in the Sqorz Gate Wars... lots of times getting lower and lower, 40 starts recorded by enthusiast riders in the 1 hour - epic! A spot of low key racing for those who stayed out for the later gates too. The regional Handlebar trophy headed home with one of our young riders who conquered the gate start today - woo hoo! Was awesome to see everyone having a great day. See you again next week.
