Most people think I’m JUST talking about the body.

And yes, that’s part of it.

But over the years, I’ve come to believe those words mean so much more than the asana.

Stretch up toward your highest potential.

Stretch down into your roots, your values, and the things that keep you grounded.

Stretch up toward possibility, growth, and becoming.

Stretch down into gratitude, humility, and remembering where you came from.

Life asks us to do both.

If we only stretch up, we can become disconnected from what matters.

If we only stretch down, we may never discover what we’re capable of.

The magic happens when we learn to do both at the same time.

To reach for the stars while keeping our feet firmly planted on the earth.

Stretch up.

Stretch down.

On the mat.
In your relationships.
In your work.
In your life.

And notice what becomes possible when you create space in both directions.
