🎉Client Spotlight🎉

Huge shoutout to my incredible client Anne for crushing her March goal of 10k steps every single day! 🙏🏽 I'm beyond proud of her dedication & progress.

Special thanks to her loving husband Rob for celebrating her daily wins & making it extra special, her own certificate of achievement for her milestone🥺🥳 ❤️

We've come a long way since October 2025, & it's amazing to see her thrive.

Anne’s 60 years young, & came to me dealing with knee pain from a torn meniscus years ago that was affecting daily activities like walking, sitting up/down,etc..

Fast forward to now, from knee pain to pain-free living, Anne's transformation is a testament to hard work & consistency.

Notable wins:
-losing 3 3/4 inches off her waist
-gaining ⬆️ 4lbs of muscle mass
-fueling her body with more Whole Foods & hitting protein targets

Don't let age hold you back & control your lifestyle, let your lifestyle control your age.

Anne is 60, takes care of her mother & still finds time to strength trains 3x/week, walk 10k steps daily.

Invest in yourself & prioritize your health, it’s never too late to start. Let’s map out a plan together & move that needle forward to becoming what you’re meant to be ! The way

💥Client Spotlight 💥

Congrats to one of my All-star clients: Gabe!

He crushed the Archipelago Ride 2023 this past weekend.

This was a unique mountain biking festival that takes riders on a journey through several trail systems in San Diego. The journey was about 24 miles through about 2000ft+ of elevation.

I’m so proud and excited to see how far you’ve come since we first started. I train with Gabe 3x/week and he loves to 🚴 on the weekends or hangout with his fam.

Gabe’s been a loyal client of mine for the past 5 years and was there with me since day 1. From boot camps at the rec/garages, to the various gyms along the way. I appreciate all the hard work you put in daily and making your health a priority & lifestyle, while balancing everything you do. You’re a real one💪🏽💯

One of my favorite things aside from coaching is having the opportunity to the see the growth of my clients in various stages of their lives. Both in and out of the gym.

Whether it be going after new PR’s, chasing new career endeavors , or getting out of their own comfort zone in whatever it may be for them.

Shoutout to my boy vince for consistently doing his best every time he comes in.

Happy Monday!

One of the best ways to stay committed and consistent with your fitness goals is through accountability.

No matter how motivated you are at first, you will eventually have a couple days where your enthusiasm drops, & your excuses wins. This is where accountability comes in.

Here’s some way to help keep you accountable:

1️⃣ Schedule out dedicated time blocks on your calendar to complete daily movement( make this a non negotiable)

2️⃣ Follow a program consistently &track your lifts (use a journal, notepad on phone, training app)
This will ensure you’re progressing each workout without any guesswork & you can follow your journey.

3️⃣ Find a workout buddy. Partnering up with someone with similar fitness goals are a great way to improve accountability. They’ll keep you committed and you can check in on each other’s progress.

We all have busy schedules throughout the week, but we made it a consistent routine to meet up and train every Friday the past several months.

Surround yourself with like minded individuals
who are there to push you, get you out of your comfort zone, & support you.

& who are also down to do 100 steps of weighted lunges out in the sun with you after some heavy ass squats. 💀

What helps keep you accountable with your health & fitness goals? Lmk!

Let’s get after it this week💪🏽

What’s up IG fam! Been a minute, hope all is well👏🏽

Back at it again with a trainer tip Tuesday.

One important factor we often tend to forget about that can effect our performance in the gym aside from proper nutrition and following a consistent training program is RECOVERY!

We can go all in at the gym with the “all gas no brakes” mentality but if we’re not properly recovering from all the stress training demands on the body, along with the daily stresses we deal within our individual lives. Then we’re doing our body a disservice.

One of the top ways to help improve our performance= SLEEP!😴

Lack of sleep can effect a number of things
such as:
•slowing down our metabolism
•Insulin resistance goes up
•Increase in blood pressure
•Increase cortisol- (break down muscle tissue, more stress)
•Decrease testosterone

Be like my buddy Charlie 🐶
and implement these tips to help create better sleep hygiene.

•Strive to aim for 7-9 hours of sleep daily!
- try to sleep before midnight 💤

•Try to shut off all electronics 🚫📱30min-1hour before bed- this can effect your circadian rhythms as lights can suppress the secretion of melatonin.(hormone that regulates your sleep-wake cycle)

•Consume a carb rich meal for dinner 🍽
(the carbs will help synthesize serotonin, primary hormone that helps you relax/unwind)

•Follow a consistent pre sleep routine🧘‍♀️📝
(ex. Meditate, journal, essential oils, music & incense, set a fixed wake up time)

These are just some ways to help foster better sleep hygiene.

What helps you get a better nights sleep??

What’s up IG Fam! Happy Wednesday.

It’s definitely been a minute. Now that majority of places received the green light to reopen gyms. I’m sure everyone’s drive and motivation to get back on track with their health and fitness goals are at an all time high.

As we get back into a routine of some sort ,there seems to always be that one common enemy that we all hate time and time again: the bathroom scale.

Especially after having plenty of extra time at home with less physical activity and a pantry filled with all the various 🍪🍭you can think of. (Definitely me, no regrets. 😅)
The reading on the scale during Day 1 post quarantine is likely 💩.

But that’s totally fine, because you now have a new baseline to work with and I want you to remember that the scale doesn’t tell you the whole story about your health.

Many factors can come into play and affect the # on the scale such as: hydration levels, stress, meals consumed prior to weighing, menstrual cycle, etc.

Many forms of progress are invisible to the bathroom scale.

Let’s focus on what we can control that push us closer to achieving our Heath/fitness goals such as following a structured training program, forming daily habits that you can adhere to, making this a lifestyle change, and probably the most important one overall: focus on consistency.

Following an imperfect plan consistently is way better than following the perfect plan inconsistently.

If you have any questions on anything, or still unsure of what training program to start. Hit me up! Let’s talk and map out a plan together👏🏽
