For the past 4 weeks, we’ve had the chance to host Katrina, the newest member of the FSWC Quebec team, as she completed her training with us here in Regina 👏

Wishing Katrina all the best as she heads back to Quebec and starts this next chapter!

⛳️ The FSWC team hit the course earlier this week to support our founder, Chris Lesanko, ahead of his 20th Annual Chris Lesanko Golf Classic this Saturday!

For 20 years, this tournament has brought people together to support Chris and celebrate the community that has been behind him every step of the way.

Can’t make it out this weekend? There’s still time to show your support by purchasing raffle tickets 👏 Check out the link below for details!

Look at Ollie go! 👏👣

Putting in the work during gait training — building strength, coordination, and confidence one step at a time.

So fun watching him tackle this 😊💪

🍪 WE DID IT! 🍪

Together, Regina raised a record breaking $233,620.41 during this year’s Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign in support of First Steps Wellness Centre and SOFIA House!

Of that total, First Steps Wellness Centre will receive 60% — $140,172.25 — which will directly support our programs and services for individuals living with neurological conditions in our community.

We are incredibly grateful to every single person who purchased a cookie, volunteered their time, shared our posts, placed pre-orders, or helped spread the word throughout the week. The support from this community was truly overwhelming, and this campaign would not have been possible without all of you.

A huge thank you to the Tim Hortons owners, staff, and everyone behind the scenes who worked so hard to make Smile Cookie Week such a success 🍪✨

This funding will help support important programs and services right here in our community, and we couldn’t be more thankful to be part of something so impactful.

Regina, thank you for showing up in such a BIG way 💥

A huge congratulations to Braden Pettinger on receiving the 2026 Hal Merrill Community Impact Award 👏

As a long-time FSWC client, it’s been amazing to watch Braden continue to make an impact both on and off the court through wheelchair rugby and the community around it.

Well deserved, Braden!

We’re excited to share that FSWC has received funding through the City of Regina | Municipal Government Annual Activity Grant 👏

This funding has allowed us to expand our Parasport Training Program to twice a week, creating more opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities to build strength, confidence, endurance, and performance in a supportive environment.

Thank you to the City of Regina for supporting accessible sport and recreation opportunities in our community!
