One year ago today I made the biggest decision of my coaching career and went fully independent. I was told it was "the worst decision possible" and that I was "bonkers". At the time, I believed it.

One year on, it's the best decision I've ever made. Designing my own programme, working closely with clubs I'm genuinely passionate about, supporting young aspiring coaches to earn their badges and helping players of all ages and levels be the best they possibly can be.

From starting alone at Stocksfield to now having a team of eight coaches across three venues, all of them sharing the same values around player and club development feels incredible.

Thank you to the clubs who backed me, and to every parent and player who came with me. None of it happens without you.

Coaching tennis is the best job in the world and I wouldn't change it for anything. Excited to see where we are in five years, ten years. The future's big, and there's still a lot of work to do.

Team Trip down to Wimbledon today! 🎾🍓

I was lucky enough to get accepted into the coaches ballot this year which allowed myself and Lois to take 3 junior players down to Wimbledon!

Sophie, Anya and Amber had the best time today watching great tennis, eating strawberries and cream and even getting signatures off some upcoming juniors and some experienced women’s doubles players!

It’s definitely inspired the girls to get back on court and work hard when they get home!!
