A massive well done to some of the Perth Fitness Camp crew who were out taking on events this weekend 👏
Whether it’s a 5k, obstacle race, Hyrox, charity challenge or simply doing something that would have felt impossible a few years ago…
That’s what it’s all about.
Not perfection.
Not six packs.
Not trying to be the fittest person in the room.
Just ordinary people building the confidence, fitness and mindset to challenge themselves and do things they never thought they could.
As a coach, seeing people step outside their comfort zone and achieve things they once doubted is one of the best parts of the job 👊

6 weeks.
Fridays.
6:15am - 7am
For full on fitness shenanigans with…
Slam balls.
Battle ropes.
Kettlebells.
TRX.
Sandbags.
Tyre flips (because why not suffer properly).
This is small group training.
Everyone putting in a shift

“𝐈’𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧…”
It’s probably the biggest lie we tell ourselves.
I’ll start when work calms down.
I’ll start after the holidays.
I’ll start when the kids go back to school.
I’ll start when I feel more confident.
The problem?
That magical moment rarely arrives.
After 20 years of coaching, I’ve learned something:
Most people don’t start because they’re confident.
They become confident because they started.
Every single intake, I see the same thing.
Someone turns up nervous.
Worried they’ll be the slowest.
Worried everyone will be fitter.
Worried they’ll look silly.
A few sessions later?
They’re chatting, laughing, working hard and wondering why they put it off for so long.
Confidence isn’t something you find before you begin.
It’s something you build by taking action.
So if you’ve been sitting on the fence thinking:
“I know I need to do something, but I’m just not ready yet…”
That’s normal.
Start anyway.
The first step is usually the hardest.
The next one gets easier.
And before long you’ll wonder why you waited.
👊 The Perth Fitness Camp is built for normal people.
Not fitness fanatics.
Not gym addicts.
Not people already in shape.
Just ordinary men and women looking to feel fitter, healthier and more confident.

You won’t know it’s your last.
One day you’ll go for your last walk.
Pick up your kids for the last time.
Run around with your grandkids for the last time.
Most people spend more time planning their next holiday than they do protecting the body that has to carry them through the rest of their life.
Health isn’t everything.
Until it’s gone.
Worth thinking about at 9pm.
