It’s been brilliant to see the impact Charlotte is already having on our community.
One thing we’ve always believed at Transform is that people are inspired by people they can relate to.
Charlotte isn’t just a coach standing at the front of the room telling people what to do. She’s somebody who genuinely lives the lifestyle she promotes.
She trains consistently, prioritises her health, enjoys social occasions, loves good food, and understands that fitness should enhance your life rather than take it over.
For many of our members, especially the women, that’s a really powerful message.
In a world where social media often portrays extreme diets, endless workouts and an all or nothing approach, Charlotte demonstrates that you can build strength, improve your fitness and feel great whilst still living a balanced, enjoyable life.
She shows that success doesn’t come from being perfect. It comes from being consistent.
The knowledge and coaching are important, of course. But sometimes the biggest impact comes from showing people that looking after yourself can fit around a busy, real life schedule and still produce incredible results.

Taruna came to us with some historic back issues that caused her a lot of pain day to day and stopped her from being able to exercise.
With the right training guidance and support, Taruna has built a consistent and progressive routine to improve her back issues and also move into more advanced training 💪

Matt came to us feeling intimidated by strength training and unsure where to even begin.
Like many people, he was doing plenty of cardio but still didn’t feel comfortable in his own body.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Transform York has been awarded Gym of the Year 2026 at the Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence Awards.
To receive an award like this in just our 5th year here on Lawrence Street means a huge amount to us.
Especially after being fortunate enough to win Personal Trainer of the Year in York for 3 years running.
But more than anything, this award reflects the people inside our studio every single day.
The members who walked through the doors feeling nervous, unfit, overwhelmed or lacking confidence and chose to invest in themselves anyway.
The team who genuinely care about helping people create healthier lives, not just quick fixes.
And the community we’ve built together that makes Transform feel very different to a typical gym environment.
When we started Transform York, the vision was never to create an intimidating fitness space focused purely on aesthetics.
It was to build somewhere ordinary busy adults could feel comfortable improving their health, strength, confidence and wellbeing with proper support around them.
To now be recognised nationally (for a 2nd time!) for that mission is something we’re hugely grateful for.
Thank you to every client, coach, supporter and person who has been part of the journey so far.
