Who Are Our Chatham Cup Opponents?

Club History
The club formed in 1967 with the amalgamation of two existing clubs, Lower Hutt City (formed in 1921) and Railways (formed in 1942). We are a very proud club that celebrated its 100th year in 2021, our Senior men's team compete in the top local league that it can, which is the Central League. Ten teams compete in this league and we play teams from Napier, Wairarapa, Palmerston North and seven other local teams. They also have six other teams below the level competing in various leagues within the Capital Football region.
Present position 5th in Men's Central League 2.

Format For The Local League 2026
- 2 divisions of 5 teams and 1 division of 6 based on 2025 standings.
- 15-week league.
- Teams play matches against opponents within their division as well as directly adjacent
divisions.
- Division 2 teams play the other two divisions, but Division 1 never plays Division 3.
- Division 1 and 3 play two round robins within their own division (8 games), plus one
round against Division 2 (5 games), totalling 13 games.
- Division 2 plays one round against all three divisions, totalling 14 games.
Please note that friendlies are not compulsory, these fixtures can be changed/altered where
possible.
Phase 1: Everyone plays within their own division (5 weeks)
Phase 2: Division 1 plays Division 2, Division 3 play themselves (6 weeks)
*Please note, there will be no game for Division 3 on the 27th of June.
Tables:
- Each division has its own table and trophy, where all points earned by the respective
teams are counted, regardless of the division that the opponent is from.
- Tables will need to be manually updated and emailed/posted online at the end of each
phase of competition.
