Hi All and Welcome to the Carterton Association Football and Sports Club page. We are primarily an Association Football Club currently with two teams playing in the Wairarapa League (Divisions 1 & 3). Founded in 1925, we are a relatively small club with a long history... Based at Howard Booth Park in Carterton where we have a clubhouse, complete with hot showers, kitchen and a social space for after match functions. We are generally on our home ground every other weekend ad would welcome new members (playing or not) - You may notice from the team photos, we are a mix of ages and, although on the field we want to win, it is more about a social atmosphere and the joy of playing this great game. Come along, join in, have fun and at the same time see if you can't improve your fitness..

The break up on the 19th of September was epic. Hopefully everyone has recovered.

Congratulations to all the winners (Team Captains can add their respective winners in the comments if they wish).

Special shout out to our man and woman of the year for 2026, Nigel Reid ("5") and Katie Marie Burke.

Also to our supporter of the year, Amanda Delamere, for all her behind the scenes work.

And the biggest shout out again to Nigel "5" Reid, who was also made a life member. He is a tireless warrior for the club, on and off the field, and no one is more deserving of recognition. We love you grounds keeper Willie.

If you have any suitable for work photos feel free to upload them.

What a 2026 it has been for the coolest little football club in the whole entire universe.

Reapers played hard all year and always represented.

The Royals fought hard for a 2nd place finish in the women's division.

The Raiders absolutely smashed it and ended up Division 3 Champions, Row, Row Row. Let's pluck this chicken.

And the Mighty F@ 'n Redbacks swept all before them (even with 6 starters away watching the world cup) to be Crowned Division 1 Champions, Super League Cup holders and winners of the Wairarapa Cup.

There can be no doubt that when it comes to Football, Carterton AFC is the place to be. Looking forward to another dominant season in 2027.

If you want to join a club in 2027, you can't go past Carterton AFC.

Well done Familia!!!
