With over 10 years experience training, coaching and mentoring as a dance assistant and later as a personal trainer and lifestyle coach, Denise prides herself on her ability to discover new ways to positively motivate others by using personalized goal oriented strategies that focus on each individual’s unique learning style and vision of success. Fundamental to her own personal philosophy is the concept of Kaizen, or the continual pursuit of improvement.

If you’re a personal trainer or hands-on clinician with an existing client base and you’re ready to operate independently in a premium environment, keep reading.

The Studio Method offers a private, fully equipped training and treatment space designed for professionals who want autonomy without the overhead of opening their own facility.

What you get:
• Access to a 3,600 sq ft private facility
• Dedicated weight room + clinical treatment areas
• Shared reception, kitchen, utilities, internet included
• A collaborative environment with experienced practitioners

Licensing starts at $1,050–$1,400/month depending on usage and space needs.

Not a fit if you are:
• Newly certified with no client base
• Looking for hourly or casual rental
• Price shopping for the cheapest option

Limited availability. We are intentionally selective about who joins the space.

What did I do for my birthday as the owner of a small business? I went to work 😘.

Here are the things I enjoyed outside of work today.

A hot coffee to start my day.
A leisurely run outside in the cooler morning air.
A hot shower.
A beautiful bouquet sent from my wonderful friend ARPIES.
A delicious chocolate marzipan croissant delivered by the lovely Athlete Within Performance Training (not pictured because I ate it too quickly for a photo)
A thoughtful card from the amazing team I work with.
A delicious homemade pizza with family.

Next season of fusion fit starts September 9th 2026 and early bird registration is under way.

Fusion fit is our reinvention of traditional boot camp and we’re offering it at 4 different timeslots this fall.

Mondays at 7pm
Wednesdays at 6am
Wednesdays at 6pm
Fridays at 6am

You can sign up for multiple times per week or just once per week. But you need to register by Saturday August 15th to get the early bird discount of 25% off regular registration.

This is what entrepreneurship can look like.

Working remotely, from a picturesque location that has charm and purple-orange sunrises. A calm, and beautiful space to move your body and finish up with a dip in a cool river followed by a sauna over looking a gorgeous Canadian landscape.

What it can also mean for small business owners is that behind the scenes, someone is waking up at 4:30am on a Saturday with a to-do list of administrative tasks to complete before their travel buddy wakes up. It means putting in hours of program design and preparation before Monday’s appointments so that service delivery is smooth. It means carefully scheduling and optimizing every hour in the calendar so that there’s time to send emails, post socials and balance the books.
