We received some photos today of our girls on the Ireland squad who attended a training camp in Croatia this July. This was the only session we had in an indoor pool.

A few of our girls are in Croatia at a training camp with the Ireland u15 girls squad.
What an experience to be coached by Croatian Olympians and professional water polo players.
The girls are also learning about Croatian culture and discovering the beauty of the country.

Congratulations to Chloe and Ella on their successful Irish Nationals competition at the weekend.

Chloe is National u14 champion in all Freestyle events from 50m to 1500m, and Ella won a bronze in 200 free.

These girls train hard at Bangor Swimming Club and at Bangor Barracudas.

What a finale!
We finished the 2025 / 26 season with silverware! Our u14’s boys and girls both took part in the Tommy Kirk Memorial – and the girls won!
Both teams did our club proud – and it was brilliant seeing our more experienced players supported the younger members of the squads throughout the tournament.
That’s what team sport is about.
Thanks to all coaches, team managers, committee members and parents who make it all happen.
