One of the biggest changes my clients notice after getting in shape isn’t actually what they see in the mirror.

It’s how they feel.

Ahmad, Joe, Rehman and Shab all worked on the fundamentals that support overall health.

Resistance training.

Better nutrition.

Better sleep.

More daily movement.

Getting outside.

And improving their body composition.

Alongside their transformations, some also saw improvements in things like resting heart rate, blood pressure, cholesterol and testosterone.

But I want to make something clear.

I don’t believe in promising that one exercise or supplement will magically fix your hormones.

We look at the whole picture.

And where appropriate, we use blood work to understand what’s actually happening.

That’s what high-performance coaching should be about.

Optimising the person, not chasing one number.

Follow me for more content on building performance while improving the foundations of your health.

And DM me ā€˜ABU MAX’ and I’ll send you my free guide on how you can maximise your natural testosterone levels and improve your cholesterol, resting heart rate and blood pressure.

If you’re guessing your calories, you’re making fat loss harder than it needs to be.

Calories determine your energy balance, so if we want maximum accuracy, we need to know what you’re actually consuming.

That’s why we track calories with our clients.

But here’s the important part.

You don’t have to spend your evenings weighing food and calculating calories yourself.

Our coaching point tracks it for you.

We can build your nutrition around the foods you already enjoy, while making sure your calorie and protein targets are actually being hit.

So instead of guessing whether you’re in a deficit, we have the data.

Instead of completely changing your diet, we work with what you already eat.

And instead of wasting weeks wondering why you’re not progressing, we can make adjustments based on real information.

That’s how we make fat loss more accurate, efficient and sustainable.

DM me ā€˜Abu TRACK’ if you want to know how we take the calorie tracking off your plate.

Busy dads, Stop thinking recovery needs to be another workout.

One of the simplest things I’ve implemented personally is just five minutes of mobility and foam rolling.

And my clients have done the same.

Joe and Shab regularly used short stretching and foam-rolling sessions throughout their week.

Shab was even doing around five minutes daily.

The key is consistency.

I’d rather you do five minutes regularly than plan a complicated one-hour mobility session that you never actually complete.

I also use sauna, cold exposure and red-light therapy as part of my own recovery routine.

But none of those replace the fundamentals.

Sleep.

Nutrition.

Managing training volume.

And actually allowing your body to recover.

Recovery isn’t about doing more.

It’s about creating the conditions that allow you to perform again tomorrow.

Follow me for more practical recovery strategies that fit around a busy life.

And DM me ā€˜ABU RECOVER’ and I’ll send you my free recovery guide on how to optimise your recovery around your lifestyle as a busy high-performance dad.

Here’s how busy dads can get more cardio in without losing family or business time.

Here’s how my clients get more cardio in without taking more time away from their businesses or families.

Ahmad used the StairMaster and incline treadmill while doing admin work on his phone.

Rehman did the same while working on his businesses.

Joe used his daily walks to make business calls or spend more time with his family.

And I do exactly the same.

I’ll combine walks with calls, programming or admin.

Then on other days, I’ll take my family to the park.

So I’m getting my steps in, increasing energy expenditure and spending time with my family at the same time.

That’s the mindset I want busy dads to adopt.

Don’t always try to find more time.

Look for ways to make the time you already have work harder.

Save this for your next cardio session.

And DM me ā€˜ABU BURN’ and I’ll send you my free cardio guide on how to optimise your cardio around your schedule.

If you’re a busy dad training 5–6 days a week, you could be wasting time.ā€

One of the biggest mistakes I see with busy dads is thinking they need to live in the gym to build an impressive physique.

But look at what we’ve achieved with my clients.

Rehman trained just three times a week and added 40 kilos to his squat, 20 kilos to his bench and 40 kilos to his deadlift.

Nehman also trained three times a week and added 50 kilos to his squat, 35 kilos to his bench and 80 kilos to his deadlift.

The goal isn’t to spend more time training.

It’s to make the time you’re already willing to give actually work.

Three to four well-structured sessions, progressive overload and the right exercises can build serious muscle and strength.

Because as a busy dad, your training needs to fit around your life, not take over it.

Follow me for more ways to build a high-performance physique around business and family.

And DM me ā€˜ABU TRAINING’ and I’ll send you my free training guide on how to optimise your training.

The Recovery Stack

You don’t need another workout plan. You need a recovery plan.

If you’re training hard, working full-time, and still showing up for your kids — your bottleneck isn’t effort. It’s recovery.

The 5 things every high-performance dad should be doing outside the gym.

1 - Red light therapy- A few times a week. Speeds up muscle repair, reduces inflammation and takes the edge off soreness.

2 - Sauna, 3x 15 minutes a week — Lowers stress hormones and improves sleep.

3 - Protein every 4 hours — 1 gram per pound of lean bodyweight, spread evenly. Optimised Muscle repair.

4 - Foam rolling + stretching, daily — Five minutes. Keeps you moving well so training doesn’t turn into injury.

5 - 7–9 hours of sleep — This is the recovery tool. Everything else is a bonus on top.

Train hard. Recover harder.

Most dads are over-trained and under-recovered. Fix recovery first — the results follow.

DM ā€˜Abu Coaching’ and I’ll build your recovery plan around your schedule.

If you’re a high performance dad who struggles for energy in your workouts.

Then try this quick to make, high carb, pre workout mealā€¼ļø

Start by adding a rice cake.

My current favourites are these caramel ones for Aldi.

I’m having 3 servings cause I’m trying get massive on my lean bulk and need fuel to train like beastšŸ’ŖšŸ½

Add 30 grams of sliced banana to your rice cake šŸš šŸŽ‚

I like to pre slice my banana and store the slices in the fridge to save me slicing them up before a workout, so they’re extra sweet and coldšŸŒ

Add 1 Ajwa date.

Sprinkle some pink or Celtic salt on top šŸ§‚

Add 5 grams of local honey šŸÆ

And bonna petite āš”ļø

ā€œI’m a busy day and businesses owner, I ain’t got time to do cardioā€

It isn’t about having time, it’s about making time.

No dads got spare time to be doing cardio.

Between running businesses and family commitments 99% of high performance dad’s schedules are packed.

But the ones that are serious about dropping body fat, improving their heart health and achieving a high level physique make time.

This is how I build ā€œcardioā€ into my busy dads.

We analyse there routines and find tasks they already normally do as part of there current routine that they could do simultaneously whilst doing there ā€œcardioā€.

Whether that be stair master, walking outside, incline treadmill walking or any other form.

We then schedule them to do the tasks. For example for a lot of business owners that may be sending emails or replying to clients.

Whilst they do their cardio.

Not only does that maximise there time. It also helps them kill time whilst doing cardio so they’re not clock watching.

So they’re scheduled 15 mins cardio gets done whilst they reply to emails or clients.

Taking them no extra time out of there day.

I implement this with all Abu clients.

I’m currently doing the same. Doing my cardio and whilst creating content šŸ’ŖšŸ½.

20 mins done whilst replying to clients and creating content for my businesses!

Again, it’s not about having time. It’s about making timešŸ’ŖšŸ½

Dm ā€œAbu coachingā€ if your a high performing dad who would like me to schedule the above for you.

Adam.

Why I’m bulking?

I’m not bulking just to look bigger or gain more muscle. I’m bulking because I want my physique to perform at a higher level.

Lean bulking will allow me to improve my physical performance in the gym, Improving my strength and endurance.
So I’ll be strong and have more energy both in and outside of the gym.

Bulking isn’t an excuse to eat a load of crap. It’s a chance to fuel your body well to optimise performance.

The key is to put yourself in a small surplus of 300-500 calories.

Timing your meals well to optimise performance in the gym and recovery.

Carbs pre workout and a mix of protein and carbs post workout. Getting your fats in away from your training window for optimal performance.

Being a dad has made me even more conscious of staying physically capable — not just looking good.

I want the strength, energy and fitness to show up properly for my family.

DM ā€œAbu TRAININGā€ for the framework behind my approach.

My training doesn’t happen because I have loads of free time…

It happens because I’ve built it into my week.

I’m a coach, business owner and dad.

So I can’t rely on two spare hours magically appearing every day.

I know when I’m training, what I’m training and exactly what needs to get done.

That’s how I coach my clients too.

Ahmad works long hours in a sedentary job and has multiple young children.

He still lost 22lbs in three months, while massively improving his energy and mobility.

You don’t need a lifestyle that revolves around fitness.

You need fitness that fits the lifestyle you’re already responsible for.

Follow if you’re a dad who wants to achieve a high performance physique!
