I’m March, behind Actin’s profile. I am quite introverted and I tend to keep a lot to myself.
I have moments of imposter syndrome too as a Pilates instructor, wondering if I really belong here.

Also, I’m learning that mental health is something worth talking about. Not perfectly, just honestly.
We often carry more than we show.

I thought it is time for me to be more consistent here and sharing this on the first day of Mental Health Awareness Week (11–17 May) as a gentle reminder to slow down, check in with yourself, and be kind to yourself.

Rest is OKAY! Reaching out is OKAY 💚

🙋🏻‍♀️🙋‍♂️People often ask me what Pilates is and what they can expect when they come to my class at Actin Pilates.

🧐Pilates is not just stretching, intense yoga, or a gentle workout, as many people think.
It is more than that.

Many people live with constant tension. Their shoulders are lifted and their breathing is shallow.

😌During a session something changes.

🫁They breathe differently.
🚶‍♀️Their posture improves.
🧘‍♀️Their body stops holding tension.

🤓Pilates doesn’t just train muscles. It teaches your body how to support itself again.

If your body constantly feels tight or sore, it may not need a harder workout.

It may need smarter movement.
