Huge congratulations to Mikey Michael Carrick on his purple belt.

Years in the making. He took a long lay off late into his white belt journey, and the easy thing would’ve been to never come back. He came back. Earned his blue, and since then, pure consistency, turning up, doing the work, training through life challenges, never once using them as an excuse. And the graft shows.

The transformation has been inspiring, fitter, leaner, stronger, all of it earned on the mats. A purple belt from us isn’t handed out. Mikey earned every bit of it. This is what dedication looks like.

World class details, an evil kimura, he made it all such fun, while somehow being the most humble person in the room. Genuinely special stuff.
