What happens when we are open in life?

We are receptive.

We are trusting.

And there is a knowing that everything is working out exactly as it is.

And of course, it’s easier to keep that trust when life feels like it’s working out for you, but what about when it doesn’t?

When it seems to be one thing after another?

That’s when we can start making meaning of our experiences and think that life is definitely not working out for us.

But what if life is still working out for you, even when it feels like it isn’t?

What if you don’t need to have all of the answers now and you don’t need to make sense of it all?

Maybe it’s in these moments that life is inviting us to trust even more.

To meet what’s here and to be with what is (without needing to change it or think you need to be somewhere else.)

What’s helps you stay open when life may not be going the way you expected or hoped?

Ps I swear to God miracles happen the most when we are OPEN! Do you agree? Let me know in the comments ❤️

If you slowed down today, what might you be able to see clearly?

Are you your own worse critic?

It’s such a moment-to-moment practice of being kind to ourselves and learning to become our own best friend.

We’re never going to get rid of our negative thoughts, but it’s about becoming aware of when they’re here and meeting ourselves with curiosity rather than criticism.

Over time, with awareness, the inner critic isn't so loud, and we learn to be more compassionate rather than critical.

If you notice you're being hard on yourself this week, what is one way you can give yourself some love? Perhaps some kind words or anything else.

Let me know in the comments below ♥️

And as this audio says, give yourself the love that you know you're capable of giving to other people. 🫶🏼 xx

What can you appreciate right now?

If your mind is often focusing on what's wrong, what’s missing, or how far you've still got left to go, I feel you!

But what if the thing keeping you stuck isn't your life but where you're placing your attention?

When you begin shifting your focus, you start to see clearly.

And from that place you being noticing what's working, what's already supporting you, and you start showing up differently.

I've been playing around with the idea of hosting a free live masterclass and guiding you through one of my favourite coaching tools to shift tour focus.

It will be a space to slow down, breathe, reconnect with yourself, and experience a shift in real time.

I’m still playing with the idea, but I'd love to know, if I crated this, would you come?

How I knew I needed to stop drinking alcohol…

1. I couldn’t say no and didn’t know when to stop.

2. I woke up with hangxiety after drinking, often unable to remember the night before.

3. I was using alcohol as an escape from negative beliefs about myself—feeling not good enough.

4. I acted in ways that weren’t true to my authentic self, and I often woke up disappointed in my actions.

5. My mental health was deteriorating; I felt disconnected, inadequate, and had thoughts of not wanting to be here.

6. I knew I had to show up differently—to love myself again and heal through acceptance, rather than denial or escaping what was happening inside my mind and body.

Honestly, I don’t see myself drinking again.

This could change, but deep down, I know I’m a better person without alcohol.

Something had to give.

As I approached 30, I was so hungover I’d be vomiting in the toilet until 10 PM, unable to hold down water. Do you know that kind of hangover? IYKYK 🥴

That was the moment I had a serious talk with myself.

Enough was enough.

This isn’t who I am.

This isn’t how I want to show up.

I continued to drink for a few more months after that, but ultimately, I decided to stop.

And that decision changed everything for me and my future.

Feeling proud doesn’t even begin to cover it 🥹

If you’re considering reducing or quitting alcohol, know that my DMs are always open.

I’m sharing my story to inspire and resonate—if it does, I’m fulfilling my purpose.

No one needs fixing or changing, but it’s important to get curious and reflect on what’s working and what’s not working in our lives.

Here’s a prompt to ask yourself (be curious and non-judgmental as you ask)

♥️ What behaviour/habit is no longer aligned with the person I am am becoming?

If you’re needing support on your journey and coaching is something you’re interested in, send me a DM to connect further. ❤️ I’d love to connect x

Are you beating yourself up right now?

Each time you criticise, shame, blame, talk negatively, and are hard on yourself; the little you feels it too. 😔

Something I've noticed since placing a photo of myself on my mirror has been a reduction in negative self-talk.

Having a physical representation and image of the little you, somewhere you can see it daily, can help you remember that you get to be the loving parent you needed back then.

Our parents did the best they could, and they are also human.

But it's our responsibility to now tend to ourselves so that our inner child feels safe, seen, heard and cared for.

If any part of this post resonated, and you know you tend to beat yourself up and are often harsh with yourself, send me a DM as I am offering complimentary coaching calls.

This is the work I do with women — supporting them to build a loving relationship with themself so that they can trust their decisions and create a life that feels like theirs.
