Pedal the Periphery 2026 💜☑️

As we reflect on this epic journey, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us every step of the way.

This challenge was undertaken in loving memory of our friend and MCI member Darren Duncan, who bravely battled pancreatic cancer. Darren’s strength, courage and determination inspired us throughout every mile, and we know he was watching over us, urging us on when the road became tough. We are so proud of what we’ve achieved, and we believe Darren would be proud too.

A very special thank you goes to the entire team for the incredible work you do every single day. Your dedication to supporting those affected by pancreatic cancer and raising awareness of this devastating disease is truly inspiring. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful.

To our wonderful friends and MCI members, and from , thank you for introducing us to this gruelling event. Without your encouragement and enthusiasm, we may never have experienced this unforgettable journey.

To everyone who donated, cheered us on, shared words of encouragement, and believed in us when our legs and spirits were weary — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support carried us through.

This journey was about so much more than crossing a finish line. It was about honouring Darren’s memory, raising awareness, and showing what can be achieved when people come together for a cause that matters.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who supported our HERO24 charity event for Cancer Fund for Children 💛

This cause is incredibly close to us. When Coach Davy’s youngest son, Joel, was diagnosed with a brain tumour, we saw firsthand the strength, care and support charities like this give to families during the toughest, darkest times.

Head Coach Mark was the one who first thought of this event, and as a team with the support of our members we delivered. At this moment in time, the amount raised — including Gift Aid — is sitting at an incredible £1,742.50.
