CrossFit’s definition of fitness came from Greg Glassman’s quest to make fitness measurable, observable, and repeatable. 💪 He simplified it into 100 words — a timeless blueprint for health: “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar…” paired with constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity. 🔥

Those 100 words became the foundation of the CrossFit methodology — a simple formula that delivers powerful, lifelong results.

It’s not about trends or aesthetics — it’s about building capable, resilient humans who can take on anything. 🙌

Earlier this week we had a special visit 👀🏏
reached out to us while they were down at , asking if they could use the gym to stay sharp during the rain delays at Tone Vale.

We were only too happy to welcome them into the old apple shed 💪 From our local members to top-level pros, everyone trains under the same roof at Twoton. The lads put the downtime to good use, and it was great to see elite athletes making the most of the facilities here.

💥 Hercules cycle Week 3 — and the gains keep rolling in!

This week we’re dialling in barbell speed, strict gymnastics strength, and aerobic repeatability, with plenty of core and posterior chain volume layered in. Here’s the flavour:

Mon: Heavy clean complex + a spicy triplet

Tue: Chipper test (engine + grit = 🔥)

Wed: Deadlift EMOM + midline/upper pull intervals

Thu: Turkish get-ups & dumbbell/bodyweight sprint

Fri: High-volume partner workout – 3 big blocks of movement-specific tests

Sat: Team WOD with Ty—so expect his usual “gentle” (😅 not gentle at all) programming

Sun: ❌ No class

We’ve already seen some incredible improvements across the board—stronger lifts, sharper gymnastics, and fitter engines. 🙌 It’s been awesome watching everyone buy into the cycle and really enjoying the process.

Let’s keep the momentum rolling—refining, building, and pushing limits together 💪🔥
