Hi everyone. What is personal training, really?
Many people think that if you work one-to-one with a coach, that automatically means personal training. No. That’s just one-to-one work.
Real personal training is not about forcing someone to follow your system. It’s about adapting the system to the person.
Let’s say I have a program. Someone is supposed to do A, B, C and D. But they say:
“I can do A and B… but C and D? I don’t have time. I’m busy. I’m tired. It won’t work for me.”
If I say: “No — you must do it because that’s my system,” — that is not personal training.
Personal training starts when I listen.
If they can’t do C, I change how we do C.
If D is impossible, we find another solution.
If something doesn’t fit their life — we adapt.
Because real personal training means this:
The person does not fit the system.
The system must fit the person.
That’s personal training.

Consistency beats motivation.
Zaynab’s story is a great example of that.

Some boxing drills for conditioning, skills and having some fun.
Apart from our strength training sessions we have been doing boxing once per week for 20-25 minutes and after few months I could see significant difference in movement and power.

From barely moving to a complete transformation.

Why we should move more especially when we hit 40 plus ...

When you’re young, your body forgives almost everything.
Poor sleep. Bad food. No movement. Too much stress.
But after 40, those habits start to catch up.
Energy drops. Recovery slows down. Health becomes harder to ignore.
That’s why taking care of your body now matters more than ever.
Not to look younger — but to feel stronger, healthier, and in control of your life.

I am 54 years old and have been on medication for high blood pressure for many years.

In December 2024, at the heaviest weight I had ever been (11 st 4), I knew I needed to do something and, with Marcin’s help at the gym, I began my journey.

At the start, my blood pressure readings were around 130/90 mmHg, even while on medication.
I was low on energy, struggling with menopause aches and pains, and had no experience with weight training.
I was also nervous — I didn’t want muscles and had never lifted weights before.

Six months on, my weight is now 10 st, my waist has reduced from 96 cm to 86 cm, and my thigh from 63 cm to 58 cm.
More importantly, my blood pressure has dropped significantly, now averaging 107/74 mmHg, and my doctor has reduced my medication.

I feel better both mentally and physically than I have in years.
Marcin has not only trained me but educated me on how to eat better, reduce calories without cutting out treats, and make small, sustainable changes.

I honestly would not be where I am now without Marcin’s expertise, encouragement and support, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their health and fitness.
